Being whole wheat, the taste is nuttier and chewier, but if you have an open mind, it actually tastes better - rather like many people finding that whole wheat bread tastes better than white bread. There is a myth floating around that pasta is healthier than eating white bread or noodles or other products made from refined flour. However most pasta (including those labelled as 'made from 100% durum wheat') is as nutitionally worthless as eating white bread. This one is made from whole wheat, and much much healthier.
Review: If you are searching for maida free pasta ,this is the best one. Go for it. - This is my second time purchase, it's pure whole wheat pasta.Good in taste as compared to other pasta made of maida.& most important thing it is tasty also along with it's whole wheat quality.
