0.5mm Mechanical Pencil Night Blue Series (925 35-05)

EXCELLENT PENCIL!!!! It writes extremely smoothly, and the grip keeps the pencil from sliding around. It has a nice, comfortable weight, a sturdy/durable mechanism with a nice click, and a strong lead. This is a beautiful pencil, and I highly recommend it. It is a touch on the pricier end. If you're looking to spend a pretty penny for a nice writing utensil, this is the one.

I recently purchased the Staedtler 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil in Night Blue, and I must say, I'm quite impressed. Here's why: Design: The night blue color is sleek and sophisticated, making it stand out from typical mechanical pencils. It's not only stylish but also easy to spot in my pencil case or on my desk. Performance: The 0.5mm lead size is perfect for precise writing and drawing. The pencil feels sturdy in my hand and writes smoothly without any snagging or breaking of the lead. The construction feels solid, and I haven't encountered any issues with the mechanism or lead jamming. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase of the Staedtler 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil in Night Blue. While I haven't given it a full five stars due to some minor issues with eraser durability, it's still a reliable and stylish option for anyone in need of a quality mechanical pencil. This pencil was a recent edition after doing heavy research into lead types, different styles of graphite, lead thickness, and the virtues of having something other than "#2 pencil." As a caveat, I am left handed and have a terrible writing wrist. I have struggled with pencils all my life. This is a mechanical lead holder, except the clutch mechanism is not a "slip" mechanism, meaning it progressively advances in measurable increments the lead, rather than a simple vise that uses spring tension to hold the lead. The pencil itself is stunning and the fit and finish are extraordinary. It's all metal (likely aluminum) and the blue is a deep blue. The bare metals all polished. The clip is sturdy. The inside holder for the lead (which only fits one) is brass (some other reviews report plastic, but mine did not have it). The point cap screws on tightly. The lead viewfinder (that indicates what type) is adjusted with the lead cap, which means it stays sturdy in its place until you're ready to change the lead type. This keeps the viewfinder from wandering. The overall fit and finish is excellent, and the weight feels heavier than a traditional pencil, but not so heavy as to annoy my left hand. When advancing the lead, it feels very sturdy, and the clutch is tight, which means there's not a lot of "give" in how much of the lead advances. I also played with pushing the lead back in (to see if it would grind against the clutch mechanism) and it had absolutely no grind or scratch, indicating that the mechanism has enough give as to not rub off excess graphite (and potentially lubricate the mechanism and cause slip later on). It comes with an HB lead, but I bought Staedtler Mars Carbon 2B refills. Overall, this is a fabulous choice, and cannot recommend it highly. If you are someone who cherishes their writing instruments and doesn't loose them, then this is a fabulous replacement for ye' ole wood pencil. If you are someone who could care less, I would implore you to consider yourself and your habits and maybe change them for nicer and longer lasting instruments such as this. :)

Great quality. One of my favorites for drafting and writing. Its got a excellent grip that lets you keep hold of it perfectly. Comfortable and light and great value for money. It writes amazing too. This is one of my all time favorite mechanical pencils I've ever had

I love this mechanical pencil. It makes writing small very legible and crisp. It is also comfortable to hold. I really love mechanical pencils. My only complaint is the eraser. Hard to replace or remove. Maybe I need more instructions. I end up having to use another eraser.

The Staedtler 2.0 mm Night Blue Series (925 25-20) is an all-metal mechanical pencil weighting 21 grams. The extra weight feels comfortable in my hand - better control. This pencil is quality built inside and out. I am amazed that Amazon is currently selling it for a little more than the Staedtler Mars 780 Technical pencil which has a plastic barrel and weighs only 13 grams. I own both pencils. The Staedtler 2.0 mm Night Blue Series is a much better pencil then the Staedtler Mars 780. The Night Blue Series works more like a mechanical pencil then a lead holder. It does not have the big gaping jaws at the tip. It advances the lead a little bit at a time like a normal mechanical pencil. You can always grab the lead and quickly pull it to a much longer length if needed. The pencil has an adjustable lead hardness degree indicator. I only use the Staedtler Mars Carbon Leads with this pencil. It is the best 2.0 mm lead I have experienced. PROS: - All metal construction. This baby is solid yet comfortable. It should last for years. - Adjustable lead hardness degree indicator. - Lead width indicator is on the cap. - Beautiful design and finish. - Heavier than the plastic 2.0 mm pencils - weights 21 grams. - It also comes in the color silver Staedtler 2.0mm Mechanical Pencil Silver Series (925 25-20) CONS: - Does not work with the rotary lead sharpeners. - It advances the lead like a normal mechanical pencil rather than a lead holder. The speed of lead advancement may be an issue for some people.

Per my husband, this is an excellent drawing pencil, it feels solid, yet comfortable to use for long periods of time. He loves the color and the size of the lead, which stays sharp without being fragile. Well worth the money, a quality drawing pencil at a great price.

I brought this beautiful Staedtler 925 35 2mm mechanical pencil (blue) or lead holder after a lot of searching and deliberations at an unbeatable price, and I am truly impressed by its design, all metal sturdy body and most importantly, its knurled machined grip, which feels best in class and at par with Rotrings. There is no plastic parts, which gives a premium feel with right amount of heftiness. The only negative is that it doesn't have a rubber or sharpener, so one will have to buy them separately, but that's fine considering the affordable price at which these are being sold. To summarize, Staedtler 925 2mm blue lead holder is an eye catching, beautifully crafted piece of instrument with full metal body one must have in the collection for writing/drawing purposes

This is my 1st mechanical Pencil that's not just a local cheap one, so it's hard for me to compare products. But I can say this much... It is a quality product Feels very nice in my hand, and writes very smoothly. I have the 0.5mm version and I've had no lead breakage so far (after about an hour of use) Although I can't really comment on it's longevity yet, it's all metal and and seems very well made (I expect this Pencil will last as long as any other well made product) The price is great (it's 5£ more on every other site I looked at, including eBay) I like it so much I might invest in the white version (924 25) with a 2mm lead, because this lead is very fine and it might be helpful to have a thicker option for my sketches Very highly recommended, I honestly can't imagine a £20 product being any better than this, unless I needed an auto-rotate pencil, I'd say this is the one to get, and save yourself a few pounds I know this isn't the most useful review, but you will not be disappointed in this product Very happy I might even invest in either a 2mm or 0.7/9, because my lines are very thin with this pencil and I can see a use for something with a bigg

O meglio, da tavolo da disegno, in quanto è evidente che questo prodotto è stato pensato con la professione da disegnatore in testa. Costruzione tutta in metallo (apparentemente in alluminio per quanto riguarda la maggior parte degli elementi esterni, colorati blu scuro), compresa quella del meccanismo interno di avanzamento della mina che è un avanzamento tipo quello delle mine da 0.3-0.5-0.7-0.9 mm che sono comunemente in commercio - non è comune un meccanismo di avanzamento della mina di questo tipo per mine così grosse, ho presente solo Rotring con lo stesso principio. Matita bilanciatissima. Non ha nel tappo sul pulsante (quello che si toglie per mettere nuove mine) ne una microgomma ne un temperamine le quali pertanto richiedono, dato lo spessore, di essere affilate con uno strumento esterno (le campane affilamine oppure, per chi è veramente old school.... la sola carta vetrata). Ottima la zigrinatura dell'impugnatura e utile la possibilità di indicare la durezza della mina ruotando un piccolo anello in cui sono presenti tutte le gradazioni dalla 4B alla 4H (più uno spazio senza indicazioni magari pensato per metterci mine colorate). La ragione per cui ho scritto "portamine da scrivania" è che non ha la punta retrattile e quindi potrebbe essere poco idoneo ad essere portato in tasca, ma a dire il vero la dimensione della punta in questo caso è talmente grande da minimizzare il problema, che invece può essere rilevante per portamine di spessore minore al millimetro.

A ver, que esto no pesa como un mazacote de hierro. Tiene un peso parecido al de un portaminas típico de pilot. UN POCO MÁS. No son 200 gramos más, eh? A lo mucho son 50 gramos. Va bien para escribir aunque creo que su uso es para hacer otros menesteres, pero también sirve. Es cómodo, el tacto es agradable y suave. Es preciso. si te sudan las manos/dedos no se te va a escurrir en un momento crítico. A mí me gusta más el plateado/metal pero el azul es bonito. Basta ya de tanta exageración. Ya cansa. Sed realistas y no tengáis la piel tan fina.
