Wow, these are very handy extension arms! The design is pretty good. The fit and finish is fine for the very reasonable price. I'm not certain, but the included pins appear to be steel instead of aluminum. These extension arms add a LOT of versatility to super clamps. Be aware that the hexagonal shape at the end will limit the rotation angle when attached to a super clamp. This is a common design issue with the hex shape and super clamps, so I don't think this product has a design flaw.

I use it on Manfrotto Autopoles in order to have less stands on the floor and these are fantastic and take up no room. I have a few attached to poles and they keep a neat studio since I'm in a small space.

Extension is perfect for exactly what I needed to do which is be strong enough to hold my Sony a 6400 and lens it’s so strong to the point that it can even hold my monitor so if you’re looking for something strong and sturdy, this is definitely the one for you it fits perfect in my neewer heavy duty clamp. If extremely stable in the unboxing circle less than one minute, the functionality of it all is awesome.

I used these to hold up some monitors on my setup connected to a Manfrotto super clamp. They support a 24 inch monitor with a small rig Articulating Magic Arm.
