EDIT: Upon taking it apart and inspecting the internals, I found it was infested with ants, which were causing temporary shorts. After the daunting task of cleaning them out and everything, it literally started working right after they were all cleaned out. I literally still had it all apart, batteries removed, and everything, and the monitor started picking it up ASAP. I also noticed how well the solar panel worked: I tried wrapping shop rags around it to block the light to cut all power, but it kept powering on and working, even with a rag wrapped around the solar panel and the batteries removed. lol So that should be pretty telling of its quality... With that all said, I had to come back and update my review of this and give it 5 stars, instead of the original 1 star. It died just after 8 months of use... Pick a different weather station if you're looking for one! Enough said...

I had this unit replaced after a few weeks because, the temp was off by more than 10 degrees. The replacement still read 0 rain even though it's been raining. I even poured a bottle of wat through it. I contacted the manufactor and they said reset the unit. Which i did. And they have not responded since. Because, i had it replaced, Amazon considered the future needs outdates as it was replaced so, i can not gst a refund. I would not recommend this product

I’m not a tech person at all, so I was a little nervous setting this up. But honestly? Took me maybe 10 minutes. Stuck the sensor outside, put the display on my desk, and it just worked. No apps, no WiFi headaches. The numbers are big enough to read without my glasses, and I love glancing over to see if rain’s coming. The moon phase thing is just a fun bonus. Been running for a few months now and everything matches up with the local forecast pretty darn well. For the price, I’m really happy. Feels like a little weather station in my own backyard. Definitely recommend.

Didn’t last long when a thunderstorm came through and it stopped working

Nice inexpensive weather station. Arrived with a missing monitor but it was sent after contacting company. Fairly easy to set up. Reliable and accurate so far.
