Works Amazing For My Large Pool.
The Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max has been awesome for my pool. It’s cordless, has killer suction, and does a solid job on the floor, walls, waterline, and even skims the surface pretty well. I barely touch the thing anymore—the pool stays way cleaner with almost no work from me. Overall, I’m really happy with how it performs. Only downside is it struggles with big debris. If a huge leaf like from our banana trees for example drops in, it will just skip it, so I end up grabbing those myself. But for regular dirt, sand, and fine stuff? It handles it great and leaves the water looking crystal clear. If you want a robotic cleaner that does most of the job for you, this one’s a winner.

Junk
for the price, had hoped it would work better. app didn't work, connectivity was spotty. it wouldn't surface even with the $200 add on. Everything that could've gone wrong went wrong. It would work one morning, and decides to take a nap the next morning. I have a very small pool, only 4 ft deep on the deepest end.

Problems with weight, filter basket, and use instructions but A+ customer service!
"This is an update to my original review below of Feb. 2, 2026. I am TOTALLY blown away by the personal customer service and support I have received from this company! My original review was of my true and honest experience with the initial use of my Aiper, most of which was negative about the ease of use, weight, and lack of instruction in how to set up and operate. Imagine my complete shock when customer service reached out to me via email, thanking me (!!!) for the input, letting me know it was valued and shared within the company in order to improve, and stressing they would continue to monitor and welcome any feedback I may have in the future with my Aiper! And on top of it, a NEW filter basket and replacement are being sent at no charge! WOW! Part of my frustration was my expectation that the product would work flawlessly and be effortless for me to learn how to use it which I think played a big part of my dissatisfaction. Now that it is working without any issues, I will say the Aiper does clean our large (40,000 gal) saltwater pool beautifully and not having a stupid cord to work around with our old Polaris is a huge, huge improvement. Even if I have future issues, I have no doubt whatsoever the company will stand behind the product and in a 5-star type of way. Rare indeed in this day to receive that type of customer service and will indeed earn my loyalty and support." The learning curve was huge for us and the online manual just wasn't clear enough. That made my first impressions very frustrating. We've had to return it twice; first when it just stopped working and second when the battery wouldn't charge. The customer service has been quick and good. However, having to pack the cleaner back up and take to Fed Ex for shipping wasn't ideal. Even though the turn around was pretty quick, by the time we got it back, the pool was very dirty and took a lot to get cleaned back up and using pool chemicals that are wasted. It's very heavy and makes it difficult to put in and take out of the pool. I purchased the pool cart which makes it easier to wheel closer to the pool but it's just easier for me to walk and lug it to the pool rather than unplugging the charger every time to roll it. I still have to lift it off of the charging cart to put it in the pool. It's so heavy I have to drag it up over the edge of the pool as I can't lift it clear due to the weight. I think the filter basket is a very poor design and has plastic tabs that you have to push in to remove or take it all apart for cleaning. I've broken a few of the tabs because of having to squeeze so hard to pop the filter piece out. They definitely need to improve that design! We've now had it almost a year and most of the time has been spent shipping off and getting it back. The second time we got it back from repair was in November so haven't had to use it a lot due to the weather. So far it's working okay for us but having to return it two times within the first year isn't very promising. I would really research all of the different pool cleaners out there before going with the Aiper. I'm also ticked at all of the You Tube videos I watched of people who were reviewing it who glossed over all of the issues above. Only one mentioned it was a "little" heavy and NONE of them talked about the lack of instruction in setting it up and using it! I was so disappointed after having bugged my husband for almost two years to invest in one instead of our Polaris which kept wrapping around itself in the pool. I'm hoping, really hoping, we just had a rocky start and the unit will now keep working.

Aiper stepping up the plate, taking care of their customers
The scuba x1Pro Max was working great until the battery charger wouldn’t work anymore so we sent it back for repair through FedEx and FedEx lost our unit which was valued over $2000 but we were very pleased that the company aiper sent us a refurbished model at no charge with an extended six months warranty since we got it. Everything works great. We would not happy with FedEx. They gave us to run around and amazing to me how they could lose such a large package weigh over 50 pounds up to this day. FedEx has not contact us regarding this loss very disappointed, but we are pleased that aiper stepped up to the plate and helped us with this issue. Thank you.

Work as it should and beats the heck out of hand vacuuming the pool!
Easy to use App... Machine works well....and really cool that it climbs the walls (as I have a "cage" over my pool, I don't use the Skimmer function rather the floor / wall cleaning option)! Easy to pull out the basket for cleaning. AND....the Customer Service Support has been refreshingly responsive and helpful! CON.... because my sun deck has a water depth of 7"... it's too shallow for the machine to do that area. If I recall....the literature informed me of this prior to purchase.
