inherent flaw with the overall system - plastic roller innards get stripped
When the floor cleaner/roller system works, it's great. When the rollers are new, they roll freely for a while, but after they hit ANY resistance (mainly if you tap the wall and the skirt presses against the rollers), the powerful roller motors strip the insides of the plastic rollers, and the roller motor arms spin while the rollers stop rolling. I keep hearing this high pitch whine and the rollers don't move. I assume it's the rollers failing and not the motor. Once the stripping has started, the whining/freezing happens on most pull-backs, unless you pull the machine back very slowly. It's incredibly frustrating, I only seem to get an hour or two out of a new set of rollers before the whining/freezing starts happening. I'm using the powered Karcher hard floor cleaner with Bona hardwood floor cleaner (on my hardwood floors) and diluted pinesol on my tile and linoleum. I may have to try the cordless version of the powered Karcher floor cleaner, assuming it isn't as powerful, maybe it won't strip the rollers as easily. [I like to listen to music through my headphones while cleaning but I have to take the headphones off so I can hear when the machine is working and when the rollers are stuck :( ]

Brilliant 👏 quality rollers..They are a little overpriced...But well WORTH it! Much better than any FAKE ones! To keep them looking good put them in the washing Machine at 60'C... They are super easy to use & foam up nicely to Clean your floor Very Well...Also they have great longevity and last Yonks!

Goed reinigend automatisch systeem.
Prima systeem van Kärcher, reinigt netjes. Deze rollen werken prima en zijn in een zak goed in de wasmachine te reinigen voor volgend gebruik. Passen goed, wel de kleurcombinatie volgen. Dit wijst zichzelf!
