Everyone can love this! Helpful hints for success
Ignore any negative comments youโve read about this product. The wax is amazing, and any trouble that arises with it is all about temperature and technique. Iโve been using this for years, and Iโve perfected the technique over time. Believe me when I say the trouble is not the wax. You will NOT be an expert the first time, but it gets easier and faster each time. That being said, the first time I used it, I thought I might be walking around with great globs of wax attached to my hoo-ha until I had them surgically removed. It was bad....REALLY bad. So know that I have experienced everything that can go wrong with the wax, and I still say it is not the fault of the wax. To help others avoid the pitfalls, Iโve decided to share some pointers. *Supplies youโll need: paper towels or an old towel, a mirror, warmer and wax, wooden spatulas (tongue depressors work too), baby powder, baby oil, scissors if your hair is long, and No Bump to apply to freshly waxed skin *Before you do anything else, trim your hair to about 1/4 inch. If you donโt, itโs going to hurt more, be more difficult to remove, and potentially pool in a way that makes it almost impossible to remove. *If this is the first time waxing, or if youโve had difficulty in the past, make sure youโve got a couple hours to devote to the waxing process. (This doesnโt include time to heat the wax.) *Heat your wax. While this sounds simple, itโs one of the most crucial steps to success. It takes the warmer a long time to heat the can of wax when itโs new. Be patient. I turn it on high until itโs hot, then turn it to low once itโs heated. The consistency of the wax when you apply it is so important. Youโll need a wood spatula (they come in the kit) to stir and apply the wax. When you dip the spatula in, the wax should not run off like water. If it does, itโs too hot and thin and wonโt provide good coverage. It might also crack, making it really difficult to remove. If itโs too thick, like honey, youโll not only waste a lot of wax, but it will take longer to dry. The consistency should be somewhere between water and honey. It is far better to have it somewhat closer to honey than water. *Take a couple Advil about 20-30 minutes before you apply the first bit of wax. It really helps. I have forgotten before and could definitely tell a difference. *Spread a towel or paper towels on the floor to catch any drips. I either stand or sit on the floor for the waxing. *Get out the baby powder. It is your new best friend. Some people use oil at this point, but I had trouble getting the wax to stick to the hair. Anyway, I liberally apply baby powder to the spot Iโm getting ready to wax. The powder keeps the wax from sticking to your skin, but dries the hair so it sticks to it. I also dump some into my hand and rub it all over both of them so thereโs a coating on them. This will keep wax from sticking to your hands when you either drip it on them or try to pull wax before itโs completely ready. Now itโs time to start waxing. * Dip your spatula in and get a glob of wax on it. I hold it above the warmer for a few seconds and run the bottom over the edge of the can to scrape off drips. Apply the wax to a small section, maybe 1 x 2 inches. I always start on the outside and work my way in. Run the wax in the direction the hair grows, from the root to the end. You want the wax to be dry enough to peel, but not too dry. Since my hands are always coated with powder, I gently pat the wax a couple of times. It should be dry enough to remove within just a few seconds if your temperature is right. (When you apply the wax it should feel really warm, but certainly not hot enough to hurt you.) With your free hand, hold the skin taut above and below the waxed patch. With your other hand, grasp the bottom end of the wax. Technique is important. Imagine youโre peeling the wax off, not pulling it. This can be achieved by keeping your pulling hand close to the skin as you peel back toward the base instead of pulling upward. If wax drips somewhere, or if you got it on you fingers while peeling, itโs a good idea to let it dry before attempting to remove it. *Powder the next section, and maybe your hands again if they need it. Keep doing small sections. I like to leave the landing strip until last, because itโs the most painful part of the process. *They tell you not to go over the same section more than once, but Iโve never had trouble with a second application to get straggling hairs as long as I powdered the area again. *When youโre completely finished, youโll no doubt have some wax on your hands, and some bits left behind. Before I ever get in the shower, I pour baby oil into my hands and remove it and the wax bits with a paper towel. Next I pour more into my hands and rub it everywhere the wax touched. I feel for stuck bits as I rub it across the area, scraping gently with my fingernail to loosen them as I find them. I then wipe that all off with another paper towel. I shower using ivory soap on the waxed area which cuts through the oils very effectively. *After showering, I apply No Bump to avoid ingrown hairs. Itโs a good idea to use it after every shower, but it burns like fire the first time you use it after waxing. If you keep up with waxing, itโs faster because your hair doesnโt all grow in at the same time. It takes me around 50 minutes to wax now.

Gigi Hard Body Wax101 - This Wax is THE BEST!!!
This might be a bit of a long review, but I want to share 8 years of trial and error with this Gigi Hard Body wax. I am not a licensed professional, just a person who wants to save money by doing my own waxing at home. For starters, this wax does not require the fabric strips. If that's what you want/like to use, this isn't the right wax for that method. Don't know much about that kind of wax except to say that it's sticky/gooey and I hate it. Used it once, it was a complete disaster and a mess, threw everything in the trash and went back to this. This is the easiest wax to use!!! Moving on, buy the big warmer that they sell for these cans of wax, the one with the temperature control. Also, having the cardboard ring that goes around the can while it's sitting in the warmer is nice. It prevents the wax from getting dripped down into the edges of the can when its in the warmer. No matter how hard you try, you are going to drip wax. Just expect that. Protect your bathroom counter with paper towels and spread a big garbage bag over where you'll be standing while doing this. Wear old clothes if you have to have something on. If you have a nice manicure, wear gloves or you will be spending time picking wax off your nails. I recommend waxing right before getting a new manicure if you can. If you color your brows, do that the day before you wax. And remember, if you have long hair, tie that up or it will find its way getting stuck in the wax!! Here's how to work with Gigi Brazilian Body Hard wax. It should come with a clear plastic seal around the lid on the outside edge of the can. There is no inner seal. Take the plastic wrap and the lid off. Place just the can (and the cardboard ring if using one) in the warmer and turn it up to the highest setting. Go do some laundry, watch tv, make a sandwich. A new can will take 1-2 hours to melt. You can stir it around with a stick every 20 minutes or so if you want. The most important thing to understand.....getting the temperature of the wax right. For starters, the whole can needs to be evenly warmed to the same consistency, so expect the wax to be too hot after its melted. It almost always is. How do you check? Place an applicator (popsicle) stick in, stir it around good and hold it up over the can. If the wax drizzles off the stick fast and it's really runny.....it's way too hot!! Stop right there and turn the warmer off or down to the lowest setting. It needs to cool. If the wax is too cool, it will be like stirring an old container of super thick cake frosting. Turn the temperature up slightly and wait. Eventually, you will get the wax to the perfect temperature. The way to tell? If the wax has the consistency of honey, then you've got it right where you want it. Test it on the inside of your wrist. It should feel warm, but not scalding hot. To keep the wax at that honey-like state, you might have to switch the temp on the warmer up and down throughout the whole process. You're almost ready to start the fun part. Put some olive oil on a cotton round, not too much, and lightly go over all areas to be waxed. (If you're doing your brows yourself, go over your eyelashes with a heavier dose of olive oil too, just in case they touch the wax. Really long lashes can get stuck by accidentally blinking right after you apply wax under your brow, so be aware of that. This can happen if you're standing up looking in the mirror.) The olive oil serves to prep the skin and helps the wax easily pull off. I don't know anything about using powder, but I would think it would cause this wax to bond with your skin and be incredibly difficult to get off. Play it safe and go with the olive oil. Time to get waxing!!! Pull the skin taught and smooth if you can and get ready to apply the wax. (*TIP* The applicator should have wax on one side only. Scrape the backside of the applicator off on the edge of the can as you get the wax onto the top side of the stick. Doing this prevents you from dripping wax all over everything!!!) Spread the layer of wax up and against the direction of the hair growth. The layer of wax should be about the thickness of a dime to a quarter, but this varies from area to area. (That's just a general giudeline for anyone new to this.) The wax will harden in 1-2 minutes and the edges will start to come up when it's ready to pull off. If it feels like gooey bubblegum, you'll need to wait a few more minutes. When you and the wax are ready, grab the edge and pull fast. I pull down (in the direction of the hair) and it seems to hurt less. A few notes about the discomfort. Its going to hurt. Expect that. You are ripping the roots of the hair out from below the skin. The trade off is that it doesnt grow back for 1-3 weeks!! The hair should be rather short before waxing. (For measure, I'd say long enough to grab it good with tweezers if you were going to pluck it.) The longer it is, the more it hurts. The thicker it is, the more it hurts. The good news (yes there is some) is that the more you wax, the less it starts to grow in over the years. I've invested 8 years to ouches and profanity, and I'm seeing less and having to do it less often. Peach fuzz on your face that picks up powdered makeup? No problem!! That comes off regardless of how fine or short it is. Be careful on your face and try the neck area first for practice if you're not sure. I mastered eyebrows first and then eventually moved on to experiment with waxing off the microscopic facial hair I could barely see. And to bust a myth...waxing will not make facial hair grow in thicker. Those little personal facial shavers are what cause that lovely problem, so skip those gadgets and save yourself the aggravation. Waxing gets it all!!! What else? I'm thinking. Oh yes. To apply wax, use the big wooden applicators for everything but brows. Brows need the skinny applicators. You will find that it's hard to get all the hair with one pass with the wax. It says not too, but you can wax the same area more than once. I find two passes with the wax to be most effective in getting everything. No big deal for me, but to err on the side of safety, I would say that all depends on the person's tolerance level and the sensitivity of the skin to the wax. If you can only manage to do each area once, clean up the leftover hair with tweezers. To remove excess wax...go over it with olive oil and it will release from your skin. Shower after waxing. If not, you will find yourself sticking to your clothes and underwear like velcro. Use a loofah glove and soap and gently go over all the areas you did from your neck down. For your face....be sure to get the olive oil off of your skin as soon as you can. Ponds works great for an initial gentle cleanse, then follow with whatever you use to wash your face. Avoid microdermabrasion or harsh scrubs for a day or two after. Ingrown hair and red bumps are sometimes an issue with waxing. No worries there. Amazon sells a product called Tend Skin Solution. This stuff is great and fixes that problem in a few days. Ok. So that was my Gigi Wax 101 Tutorial. Remember to be patient with yourself (or whomever has asked you to do this for them) and don't try this for the very first time 2 hours before a date. This should be done when you have an uninterrupted block of time. Some privacy or having the house to yourself helps too, especially if you have a roommate, kids, or significant other that might end up banging on the door wanting to know what you're doing! If I've forgotten anything, I'll update this. I swear by this wax and I recommend it to anyone who asks what product I use.

I like this product
Overall, I like this product. I've been getting Brazilians and my underarms done for several years, so I knew the general gist of how to use the product. I still watched several YouTube video's beforehand, since I've never actually done it myself before. I would really suggest not piling it on too thick. It can get kind of taffy-like when you pile it on too thick and then doesn't pull off as it should. It's a fine art though, because if its too thin you get a lot of leftover flaky wax which is a pain in the butt to get rid of. But too much and it's not as effective and hard to pull off. So I would say apply thin-ish layer but don't dab it on, cause thats when it gets flaky and obnoxious. I would also recommend showering before you use this especially if you have used deodorant that day and are planning on doing your underarms, cause it needs to be washed off for the wax to be most effective. My routine consists of first turning the machine on high at least an hour before you want to start waxing to melt the wax, and then after its all melted I alternate between low and turning it off for a few minutes, otherwise it gets too hot. Then I apply some baby powder to the region to get rid of any excess moisture, and then I apply the wax in a moderate amount in the direction of the hair growth, trying not to spread it out too thin. If you can get it applied in a solid line, that is optimal. DO NOT PAT IT ON with the stick around the edges of the initial spread of wax, that's when you get it flaky and it's a pain in the ass to get off. If you have to apply more wax I found it best to just apply it directly on top of the initial layer and then trying to evenly spread it out. Then let it sit for around 30 seconds or until its hard and no longer warm. Then pull it off in the opposite direction of hair growth. It can be tricky when you can't exactly see the direction of hair growth, and you may unfortunately have to wax twice (this wax is gentle enough where it shouldn't be a problem-it wasn't for me, and I have fairly sensitive skin that is prone to irritation). I think most problems that come with this are from user error, and it's a really good wax. It also smells good in my opinion (like beeswax), and I noticed a lot less irritation with this vs. whatever they used in the salons and a LOT less irritation than with sugaring, and far less pain in my case than when I paid to get it done. You are not a sissy for popping a few advil half an hour before use though, that's what I did and it seemed to help a lot. For anyone who loves being waxed but hates paying the price I would invest in the Gigi machine and the hard wax. It's super worth it. I would say this is as good of a wax as any and at an extremely reasonable price. I would not recommend trying this without getting it done professionally at least once though, so you know what to expect. Part of the reason it was so easy for me to use was because I had a lot done before I decided to do it myself, and I like doing it myself more than getting it done. The whole process (brazillian and underarms) took me around an hour and a half to two hours, but I took my time and was distracted by watching some Netflix. Don't rush it or you will for sure mess it up and will have some regret.

Great!
Hey!! all.. to tell you a little about my history. I am an asian and recently moved to North America permanently. I was used to getting waxed my whole body and was in great difficulty while i moved here because in asia, we just call a woman at home and she does the job in a very reasonable amount of money just like $10 for everything. So, i WAS VERY WORRIED WHEN I CAME HERE.. and after two months of research over the internet and on amazon, I decided to go with doing it myself and started searching products for it. I decided to invest in these products and ordered one gigi honeee combo along with the warmer and muslin roll as well as on e gigi hard wax tin. At first, I thought that I should wait for all my hair to come back since i used the pre wax strips on stores such as walmart and target. Bu then I had some free time and thought lets try it out in my private part. I warmed it in the warmer and it took me nearly 15-20 mins to start melting. I didnt wait for it to melt all the way and started while it was goouyey. I placed some paperss on the bathroom floor and used some baby powder on my private area before doing it. I useda wood spatula and took a thick amount of wax. You can just roll it if the wax dips and wax will be rolled on to spatula just like you roll pasta on fork. This was my first time dong it. I placed a thick strip and waited for about 15 seconds to let it dry. Then tapped it on the lower end to make sure it was dry and picked it up. it GRABED EVERY HAIR. THE experience was painful but i think we all need to sacrifice something to get something aand my hairs were not even grown to the required length. I was afraid buying these products online as i though that i dont end up wasting my money but I am glad it does what it says. The warmer was great too. I really like it that i can do it myseld. Will try the honeey wax in a while and let you all know about it too. You NEED ALOTT OF TIME Thoughto do it completely but hygeine matters the most. Over all.. good product!!

Now this hard wax was perfect! The fact that you don't need any strips ...
I've tried giving myself a Brazilian wax several times and could never really get the job FULLY done...until I tried GiGi Brazilian Hard Wax. I have used other kinds of waxes: GiGi honey wax, a green wax of which its brand I don't even remember, lemon and sugar wax. All these waxes were ultimately either ineffective in removing all my course hair or they were just too sticky. I would end up still hairy and with residue wax all over my body and wax all over my floors. Clean up used to be a nightmare! Now this hard wax was perfect! The fact that you don't need any strips reduces the hassle and the mess, and also allows you to focus on small little bits and pieces at a time, which for me was absolutely necessary. I didn't buy any of the pre-wax products-- I soaked a little isopropyl alcohol in a cotton ball to clean the areas to be waxed, pat dried them with a paper towel and then applied baby powder pretty much everywhere. Make sure you don't forget the baby-powder! If you forget to powder up the wax will stick to your skin and remove it along with your hair (Ouch!). Because no trips are used, I was actually able to wax parts that I have never been able to before. In the past, whenever I used honey wax and strips on these specific areas, I would pull slowly and the strip would come off but the wax would stay on my body. I would spend anywhere between half an hour to an hour trying to oil rub the wax off my skin, and then I would just give up waxing altogether. Now this did not happen with the hard wax. When I pulled slowly the wax did break, but the hair did come off with the wax. I did find myself having to pinch little bits and pieces of wax (along with hair) at a time, which was excruciatingly painful, but this is my own fault for not being able to pull fast enough. I was able to wax everything off with some trial and error. Once you learn to use the wax, and to pull fast, you will absolutely love it! I feel like it hurt me less to wax myself than to have the job done professionally, but it did take me much much longer to get it done (approximately 2 hours!). The wax did leave some stray hairs, but it was nothing my tweezers couldn't fix. Cleanup was also very easy. I used my nails to chip off hardened wax that fell on my floor (a butter knife would also be useful if you don't want to risk damaging your nails). Rub on any type of oil (baby, almond, olive, coconut oil, etc.,) to remove any wax residue from your skin. Here are some tips for waxing: - Taken an advil or two (if you are not allergic of course) thirty minutes prior to waxing. This really helps with the pain. - Clean and pat dry areas that are going to be waxed. - Powder up! - Make sure your skin is taut. Use one hand to pull the skin and the other hand to pull the wax. Some areas are more difficult to make taut than others. Experiment pulling different directions until you find one that is sufficiently taut. It really reduces the pain when your skin is not being pulled and dragged along with the wax! - Pull fast! The faster, the less it will hurt. - If you are like me at all, mind over matter is easier said than done. I tell myself "fast" but end up chickening out and pulling really slowly. If you pull slow the strip might break (not to mention it will hurt like hell). For those areas which you know you might chicken out because they are extremely painful, try waxing very small portions (nickel or quarter sizes worked for me). - A thicker wax layer is not necessarily better. For me it was actually worse. Just make sure the wax layer is not TOO thin on very painful areas as a slower pull combined with thin layer or wax will cause the wax to break. - I found it helpful to wax from outside to inside. Start with your bikini area (thigh) and then continue moving towards the center. - Don't forget to bring a hand mirror to the bathroom! - Play some soothing music to distract you from the pain. Good luck!

Once great product, now a painful nightmare
First of all I am not a novice at home waxing. Ive been so doing successfully for over a decade. GiGi wax has always been my go to wax but something has changed with the quality. Iโve had 3 strikes in a row with this product in one year. The first two waxes I bought at Sallyโs beauty supply, the 3rd and last time was from Amazon so this is in no way seller related. I first noticed that the wax was cloudy looking where in the past it had been a clear amber color. I thought perhaps the first one was defective so I exchanged it for another one with a different lot number but it was the same. It heated well enough and went on smoothly but it would dry immediately into this matte, soft taffy textured nightmare! Sticky enough to completely fuse itself onto your skin but not hard enough to pull away hair. I had bruising because it would not lift from skin when trying to lift the wax and had to remove much of it bit by bit- too much for oil to take off alone. I even tried removing it with linen wax strips since it was behaving more like a soft wax than strip free hard wax- No luck! After experiencing such a terrible and painful waxing experience two times in a row with this product I discontinued waxing for a while and had decided I would not be doing my own waxing anymore. Well, we all had the COVID-19 stay at home orders and a girls got to do what a girls got to do! So I ordered the wax AGAIN, still hoping the last 2 were just flukes because this product has always been great in the past. Well, I was wrong. Excruciatingly wrong! I have no idea why after years of great results with this product it is suddenly a disaster but Iโll never use it again.

First Timer Friendly
I forgot to review this when I actually used it! I used this a few days ago and I love it. I decided to start waxing when I realized that I need to shave 2-3 times a week for a clean stubble free look, and that my coarse hair quickly dulls the razors, and that the razors are about $14.99 a pop. From my eyebrows I know that waxing can cause hair to grow back slower and sometimes not even grow back at all. So I bought a wax warmer, bought this wax and got onto youtube. I had never had anything other than my eyebrows waxed, so I was really going in blind. I love this! Pros: - No "Salon smell", I don't think it has an odor so that's pleasant. - Hard wax, so it won't rip off your skin like soft wax. Or it's not supposed to. - When used at the right consistency, it really gets a death grip onto the hair and gets your skin smooth too. - If you have sensitive skin, this is a must have wax because it was designed for the "Brazilian waxing" area, it's gentle. - Can be used elsewhere on the body, a little more than half the can took care of both legs, armpits, and the upper lip. - Not "flossy". You're not going to find tiny strings floating around from the wax. - Melts quickly, you don't need to wait more than 20 minutes for this to become a honey consistency at medium heat - Cools quickly on the skin. If you have the right temp, the wax won't take long to harden and be ready to pull. Quick process! - Easy clean up! If you have wax stuck on your skin or somewhere else, you can easily use the wax strip you just pulled off, to clean those right up, even if it's hardened already - Comes right off with oil. If you've already thrown your strip out, I was able to easily remove left behind wax with coconut oil. - Very, very easy to use. If you're a first timer all you need is youtube videos and you can do this at home on you own like I did. Cons: - Unforgiving on fabric. Do not use this around any towels or clothing you like, the wax won't come off unless remelted and wiped up. - Depending on how you apply it, it won't cool evenly and while pulling you may encounter a gooey part and mess up. Be sure to apply evenly! - I do wish it could have a nice fragrance, but this isn't necessary to the product itself

I almost like the pastel color because I can see where the ...
I have been using the Gigi Brazilian wax microwave version for about a year. I decided I wanted to invest into the warmer and use this wax. I was tired of the wax cooling off mid wax, and having to run through the house half naked to warm the wax back up to finish waxing. Additionally, the microwave wax becomes much more fragile the more you microwave it, which causes it to break apart a lot when trying to wax. This method makes it a lot easier to wax in my own privacy. Since I been using their microwave version, I honestly was expecting something similar. This wax is different in a few different ways. First, this wax is a clear yellow color, similar to warm honey. The microwave version is a pastel green/mint color. I almost like the pastel color because I can see where the wax is, instead of the honey colored one that blends right in. I didn't notice this being an issue, until after I removed what I thought was all of the honey colored wax, only to later realize I had a thin strip still clinging on to my girly hairs in the nether region. I did my best to clean up what wax I could; I used the wax remover to help. However, every time I had to use the restroom, my underwear would stick to my lady parts in different areas. I clearly had this clear wax still stuck to me in very distinct areas. I tried to remove what I could, then figured I would scrub it off when I showered. I showered, but forgot to scrub my already abused lady parts. I then started to turn on the volume in the bedroom with my partner. When the pants came off, I noticed dark blotches on my skin. The wax had picked up the lint from my dark towel (or black yoga pants), leaving me with dark patches. I tried to explain that these patches are due to wax and not the black plague. Couldn't help but laugh at my very embarrassed and mortified face. Second, the wax is very runny. Again, think microwaved honey. When I dip my wooden stick in there and pull it out, all the wax starts falling off the wood quickly. I twirl it around to try to keep some and quickly start applying it with honey goo all over my lady parts. The goo starts dripping all over my tile floors (Good thing I moved the bathroom rug). By the time I had finished, I had wax all over the floors, dripping down my legs, and on the bottom of my feet. Finally, this wax doesn't seem to cool down and harden the same as the pastel version. When I attempt to pull it off, it never comes off in one clean strip. I have to constantly dig my nails into the honey like material to get it to start peeling up, then I attempt to pull strip by strip. It really takes a lot more effort. I couldn't get all the wax off, which led to my gluing my inner legs to my girl bits during the process, and later leaving black marks all over. In the future, I might try to use fabric strips to help remove the wax. Maybe there is a learning cure with this new wax. I will keep you updated if I find a more effective way to use this wax.

Waxing oil is mandatory
ORIGINAL REVIEW: โwaxing was a mess, drips was everywhere, the experience was painful and not so greatโ. UPDATE: I have stopped using it after a long time and decided to give it a second try. Now my opinion radically changed. This time, I applied wax oil in prior . And it worked wonderfully. It perfectly removed painlessly all the hair without pulling. My method of applying hard wax also improved so there is no more reaidue that was hard to clean up, and no more dripping. Advise: you have to use only wax oil, any other oil wonโt work

Best hard wax out there!
LOVE this wax! I suffer from PCOS so I have coarse dark hair. I also have very sensitive skin and Ive found that soft wax irritates as sticks to my skin and doesn't remove much hair. Hard wax lifts off my skin as it cools and removes every hair it comes into contact with (so be careful not to drip this onto any hair you want to keep; like eyebrows) I don't use this for Brazillian so I can't comment on that, but this is excellent for facial hair. I use the Gigi warmer on medium which I find heats the wax to the perfect temp. It's important to not let this cool too much after applying as it will harden and be difficult to remove. Because of this, I do only one area at a time. Even so, it takes me less than 5 minutes to do my face; above, below & between each brow, left & right upper lip, under chin X2, 1 centre neck, 2 'sideburns'. 13 in all with very minimal plucking after (I sometimes miss a cpl on my chin). It leaves behind very minimal residue, and my sensitive skin is only slightly pink for about an hour. This usually lasts 2 weeks for me as my hair grows very quickly, but waxing this often doesn't irritate my skin at all. A friend asked me to do her brows (about 8 or 9 hairs lol) and she couldn't believe that it didn't leave any redness whatsoever. When she has it done with soft wax at the salon, she's left with red welts around her brows for at least an hour after. A tub will last me quite some time, and, as usual, it's cheaper on Amazon and you get it delivered at home!

Amazing product - 100% recommend
Really good product. Thought I would give DIY waxing a go as professional waxing is so expensive, and in my experience not always that good. I am by no means a professional but didn't experience any of the problems that some customers have listed below e.g. flaky wax, difficulty in removing wax etc. If you have never had a professional wax then I wouldn't advise to try this as your first attempt because there is a technique to it which I picked up from watching what my beautician was doing. I used the Mylee wax heater and this tub fitted perfectly inside. It took around an hour on the hottest setting to fully melt so allow yourself lots of time. Once the wax has properly melted turn the heater down to medium to stop the wax being too runny. I applied talcum powder to the area I was waxing which is meant to ensure that the wax doesn't stick to the skin and just catches the hairs which stops it being too painful (it definitely was still painful but that is to be expected!) I applied the wax in the direction of the hair growth using a wooden spatula and did very small sections at a time leaving a 'handle' at the bottom. I waited about 30 seconds for the wax to go hard and pulled it off against the direction of the hair growth. It pulled almost every single hair out leaving your skin really smooth and pulled all the hairs from the root. It took me a really long time to do the whole area but that's the price you pay for waxing yourself, hopefully I will get quicker as I get more practice in. Overall a great product that will save you a fortune if you can tolerate the pain / have the time

Best wax I ever used
Love using gigi wax for years now, it is applied easy and main thing is that it comes off skin easy. It captures all of your unwanted hair. I still haven't found any better wax.
