You cant put a galaxy note 8 inside. It's more for toddlers. But the strap is too long for toddler. Wallet is a no go, change purses work well. Also the grey looks tan in person. It's made well. The inside is soft. It's very cute. I am going to sew a back pocket on the back of it, to hold the phone for my daughter :) it's very cute. She loves it. Just wasnt expecting it to come out that small. If I didnt know any better, I'd think they sent me the small one on accident. I ordered 2 of these. One was supposed to be a birthday gift to her best friend, but I think I am going to have to add something else to it, bc it isn't much. I would say it is a grey, but with a tan hue.
