Love this mix. I made muffins and pound cake from it. Delicious flavor by itself or mix in chopped nuts or fruit. Can't go wrong bringing this to parties or luncheons

Ever wake up in the morning on a weekend and want some fresh baked goodies to go with your morning coffee, but can't bring yourself to go out and buy something, or to make a mess of the kitchen by starting from scratch? These are your solution. Not only are they absolutely delicious and have just the right amount of fluffiness, but they're SO easy to make. Instead of making muffins, though, I just scoop out enough to make about 4" discs of this stuff, and they come out perfectly. The hubs and I like muffin tops better than the bottoms (doesn't everyone?), so this is the perfect addition to your Sunday morning coffee. They don't get crispy and crunchy like some muffins do, but they're still awesome nonetheless, and the answer to your lazy-Sunday-morning prayers. ** TIP: I line my baking trays with aluminum foil after preheating the oven, throw little circles of this mix on there without greasing it up, and they come off clean as a whistle, so there's ZERO cleanup (aside from throwing out the foil) afterwards! 1 box almond poppy seed mix|,2/3 cup water|/1/3 cup softened butter/ 1 egg /oven @350/mix all in med bowl/blend on low speed 30 sec scraping bowl often/Mix on med 60 sec more scraping occasionally/Pour into 2 greased 8x4 baking pans./ bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean/ Cool completely before cutting. Makes 16-18, 1 1/2 inch servings. Every one I give it to, loves it.

Only bad part is can't buy in less than 12 count. Good thing, I don't think they'll last until the use by date. Great for breakfast and dinner dessert. If I could eat like I was I'm my 20-30s they'd be good with bacon or sausage and 2 over easy. Or maybe a bowl of oatmeal, grits if your from the south or rice if from the far east. Maybe fish in England.
