These sweat stopping headbands actually do the job they're supposed to. He has yet to stop & replace a band like his old ones made him do & gets all the yard work done at one time.

Initially, I purchased these headbands to share with my husband but they work better for him. They are made of spandex without any kind of grip on the inner side. So with my super straight, fine hair they kept sliding backwards off my head. However, my husband really likes them and find them useful while working outside. I wouldn’t say they are moisture wicking as much as they help prevent sweat from rolling down the face. Once they are wet, they’re wet. They are versatile and offer two different looks to choose. Spread the band out to create a wider look or fold/scrunch the material of the band together for a more narrow look. The headband is narrower on the bottom portion; the portion that goes around the back side of the head (close to the nape of neck). I appreciate this kind of design because it seems to fit my smaller, female sized head better than a wide band all the way around. I do think there are better selections of headbands out there though.
