Impressive quality at a good price.
The KOORUI gaming monitor offers a nice balance between quality and value, Im really impressed with this from a gaming perspective and when you consider that it's currently around £100 with a voucher it's a bargain. You get a 27 inch 1080p screen with 8-bit colour and a lovely 180Hz refresh rate. Personally I think this is more than enough in a 27 inch screen... Yes I would love a 240hZ MONITOR IN 4k at 10-bit... But this is £100 and the quality is gorgeous! If i were heading towards 34-40 inches then I might reconsider but in this range I'm really pleased. The assembly is one of the easiest I've witnessed and you can literally go from not to switched on within about 2 minutes. You also have a 100x100 VESA mounting plate if you wish to go down that road. Additional features include 20 degrees of scope in the screen angle and both VGA and HDMI 1.4 ports. For a quality gaming upgrade at minimal cost this is a beast. Highly recommended.

Worlds apart from a 1080p tv. You will not regret it
I decided to pick this up as a treat for myself. I had been humming and hawing about a proper monitor i stead of the little 1080p tv i was using with my PC. For the price and good reviews i couldn't resist. I've always used hdmi for my pc even with a large tv so i was keen to try display port as the quality is meant to be far better and this has options for both. The monitor is very easy to setup. They include a v shaped stand that slots in. Then you can tilt the monitor up or down or use the mounting holes on the back to attach to a monitor arm. I used a good quality display port cable and from switching on the monitor and pc i was blown away. Pc (win10) auto detected the 2k display and it was beautiful even starting up, with lots of depth. A quick check of the graphics utility and windows display and it was showing at the max resolution and refresh rate. Playing Hitman and AC valhalla they were like new games. I never realised just how blurred and clunky my display was when moving the camera. The refresh rate is flawless and beautiful. For movies the depth of colour and detail is staggering. Anything with a landscape cinematic is breath taking. The settings are controlled by a single push button controller on the back of the display. Long press to switch on/off, move to navigate menus. I like it as it keeps the buttons out of view, but personally i would prefer a dedicated power button/switch. There are lots of settings to choose from and easy ones for your preferred setup including a low blue light level to avoid headaches if you are sensitive. There are no speakers but it does have a headphones line out which is a nice option. I think most people will use bluetooth headphones or speakers, but it's always good to have a backup plan. I've never had a curved screen before, but if you are sitting in the correct position it is wonderful. It feels like the screen is infinite. The only downside is that if you are not sitting in the right position for anything intensive i found it sometimes messed with my eyes. Excellent price and value, great quality. Highly recommended.

Brilliant image.
I am a fan of the image quality and quick refresh rates. To get 180Hz at this cost is very good. We have actually purchased this as a gift for my nephew who damaged a previous monitor and he is thrilled. It's a crystal clear image and although my technical knowledge escapes me I can say with confidence that this is money well spend. An impressive price for an attractive and good quality monitor.

Very good for price, performance is actually great for price
I was very pleasantly surprised with the monitor was expecting 144hz turns out it’s 165hz. Display port cable came with monitor, so it’s perfect to just plug in. HDMI 1.4 and 2.0 ports, for Xbox series s users use HDMI 2.0 and you will get 1440p and 120 hz Tinkered with the settings had some ghosting with call of duty at the start without optimising it, now I notice little to no ghosting Very good for a 1440p monitor at such a good price Daily driving it and it’s working great. Adapter with monitor but UK certified plug My settings to have minimal ghosting, if you’re buying this mess around with it Response time: fastest Brightness: 100 Contrast: 59 Sharpness:7 Gamma: gamma 1 Scenario mode: SRGB Dark field bright effect: 0 I found these settings to work best for me and get the best quality for content consumption and gaming I tinkered with it for an hour due to ghosting but now I haven’t any issues For a budget it’s perfect Also runs great for Xbox, but just be sure to use HDMI 2.0

Still works flawlessly even after over 2.5 years
Finally decided to do a review on this. I bought it back in July 2023 so I've had it a while and it has worked flawlessly. I'm not a gamer but I do a lot of graphics work and I've had no issues at all with the graphics. It was easy to set up (well easy-ish) once you figured out how to work the control panel. I have it connected to 2 devices, old laptop with Windows 10 as a second screen, and a newer mini PC with Windows 11 as the main screen and experienced no compatibility issues. Screen size was perfect for me as I don't have a lot of space and the fact that it was 2k rather than the previous 24" 1080p FHD one I had has made a great difference. Watching movies is a great experience too, as is doing graphics work. Web work I have 4 browser tabs open at the same time so can see a lot more without having to keep switching tabs. As they are only a quarter screen windows if I'm using as a second screen with my laptop I tend to prefer spitting the windows in half rather than quarters so don't need to need to scroll as much scroll as much. So am still very happy with this and I've seen a few 27" 4k monitors that I'll be looking at when it's time to upgrade, as really don't have the space for a 32". Obviously you won't get perfection at this price, but it's an excellent monitor and I've had no dead pixels.

Surprised as to what it is NOT. Awful menu access!
I decided on this model based on price against 'what's in the box'. OLED and 144hz refresh was an option and speakers. Setting it up was faily straightforward after setting input to auto. Cable access to ports once mouted is cumbersome. 144hz refresh was available on both Display Port (USB-C to DP) and HDMI. Audio; could NOT get any audio, either from DP or HDMI. Audio in was also a failure although laptop picked up connection. Thought there were no speakers. I tried EVERYTHING. But I did get a test signal to come through but no audio playing. Bit of a bummer. When I wall mounted I found the menu button an absolute pain to use, the monitor moved as I made adjustments. I'm used to soft touch buttons under screen. A real put off. A USB port would have been nice, to power blue lighting. Odd not to find one. Picture quality was underwhelming, not as bright as my previous LG or Acer. Resolution is very disappointing even at 144hz. It just does not thrill at all. Waking up takes quite few mouse clicks!! Curve is just right. In summation, this is what you get for £169 budget. Return? I can't be asked. As I am disabled this would be a pain. So I will get used to it, perhaps allow some burn in time. I'm afraid the picture quality was really underwhelming especially for a 27" set. The contrast took some setting, the control was not fluid. Although I do have bluetooth speakers I would have liked the monitor speakers to have worked, as an option. Tests were carried out using a new Lenovo Yoga 5i and an ASUS Zenbook (1402 OLED) both with video via USB-C. Both machines had same audio issue.

Clutch-Ready Smoothness: 180Hz Curved KOORUI
Alright gamers, let’s talk about a monitor that actually shows up to play. The KOORUI 24-inch curved FHD 1080p 180Hz is the kind of screen that instantly levels up your setup the moment you boot in. First off—the curve. It’s not just for looks. The wraparound feel pulls you into the action like you’re locked in a clutch round, eyes tracking every angle without that “flat-panel fatigue.” Whether you’re holding a tight pixel angle in Valorant or flying through corners in a racing game, the immersion is chef’s kiss. Now let’s hit the visuals: colors are vibrant. Skins pop, maps look clean, and everything feels crisp without looking overcooked. It’s a nice balance—bright and punchy, but not nuclear. But here’s the sleeper MVP: this monitor runs cool. No joke—some monitors start radiating heat after a long grind session and it feels like your face is getting cooked mid-rank climb. This KOORUI stays comfortable even after hours of gaming, so you’re not getting that fuzzy, hot, sweaty tilt energy. You stay focused. You stay icy. That matters. Overall? If you want a smooth 180Hz experience, solid color performance, and a curve that actually adds to the vibe—this is an easy GG, well played. Final verdict: Highly recommended. Great immersion, vibrant visuals, and it won’t heat-blast you during the late-night grind.

Everything is great except for the power button. But I won't complain cause the price was right.
I wanted a cheap affordable gaming monitor without spending a fortune and this monitor was right in my price range and had everything I needed for both work and personal use. I needed a monitor with at least 2 ports (HDMI+HDMI or HDMI+DP) so I could switch between my work computer and personal gaming one. The Koorui 24E6C not only has one, but TWO HDMI ports and a DP port! It's also curved, which I never had in my entire life and now I don't think I could ever live with ever again. You have to see it to believe it! Everything just looks better on a curved monitor. All games look great on this monitor and I can't believe it can go up to 165hz. I only use it at 120hz cause most games I play won't look good at over 120 FPS. I however don't like the power button all that much. It's at the back, which means I have to get up and reach behind everytime I want to power it down, switch inputs or navigate the menus. I'll miss having these buttons on the front of the monitor. The button also acts as a directional pad to navigate the menus. To turn off the monitor, you have to make sure you leave that button centered and hold it down for about 2 seconds. If you accidentally move it slightly in any direction, it won't shut off because it will think you're pressing up, down, left or right, which can be a little annoying at times. But I'm still giving this monitor a 5/5 star because of everything else about it that it offers for it's affordable price tag. There are some monitors that have a close or similar price tag at the Koorui one, but they only have 1 HDMI or 1 DP port which isn't good for me.
