It is a good product to remove toilet bowl stains.

Have been using Rust Out bottled powder for years with success ( Well Water ). Was glad to know it can help keep toliet clean between scrubbing and not damage internal parts of toliet as Bleach products can. Does leave the water a little cloudy at first ... but worth it dealing with rust.

Awesome for rust stain. Works fast.

This was purchased to clean the inside of the tank of my toilet. The toilet dates from 1956, and likely had never been cleaned. The tank was stained to the water line with a very dark rust color. Following the package instructions, I raised the water level in the tank above the stain, then added the Iron-Out. After letting it sit overnight, I used a soft brush to agitate the stain. I then flushed the toilet again. The stain was very nearly gone. Because of the age of the stain, I went through the process a second time. After the water in the tank was flushed and refilled, the porcelain was completely white and stain-free. The 66-year old rust stain was completely gone.

I was forced to throw this merchandise away. I caused Black MOLD to start growing in the toilet tanks in both of my bathrooms. I do NOT suggest anyone buying this product to keep their toilet sanitized. It6 DOES NOT work!!!

I got these to try in our toilet tanks to see if it would help keep the bowls from staining. I've used iron out to clean rust stains and it worked well. I think the issue we have is something other than iron and rust. I can smell it in the water but we are still having a build up in the bowls. We have a water softener, a water conditioner, and several filters. Whatever it is this does not help. That being said I have no doubt that if you have iron they would work.
