I bought this about a year ago, and it has been in service the entire time. Mostly, I can't rely on them to be working, or keep working. They may just stop working, and you think the batteries have died; except a rap on them brings them back to life. It wasn't the batteries. They also eat batteries, sometimes within a week. The units are also now getting so weak, they can't muster a spray even with fresh batteries and having the mechanism re-lubricated. I have no idea why an electric motor would have gotten weak. I love being able to add my own fragrance, and just wish that mechanically/electronically these were up to the task; they aren't.
