Exactly what I needed
Exactly what I needed. I love that this doesn’t leave any white dust and doesn’t spew out white mist. It’s the perfect size and stable enough where the dogs can’t tip it over easily. It’s also quiet and easy to control via the app. The only thing I wish it did have was a screen to tell me what the current humidity is, but overall, I’m happy with this humidifier.

Faulty software and water leakage
I would give a negative rating if possible. The device stops working every 2-3 hours and the customer service cannot resolve the issue. After I ask them the final solution to call a replacement under warranty, they started ghosting my email. A few weeks later, the half-full water tank device started leaking. I took a video and send them a email. The customer service communicate with me by their AI, and ask ME to check 8 different kinds of fault possibilities. I’m a consumer, not their unpaid QC staff. I started buying their products since their first generation bot. This is no longer a company in souls have confidence in.

Humidificador inteligente
No cumple con todo lo que dice, no funciona con matter, no expone ningún control extra, solo encender y apagar (HomeKit)

just fill when needed
works well, but they want you to buy the upgrades which aren't needed ... and when it says to clean it, rip it apart to clear.

Great while it worked.
Loved it when it worked, but the pump died on both of mine after about 45 days. Luckily it was covered by Amazon's holiday extension.

Great humidifier. Smart and functional.
Perfect for my needs. 1 on the bedroom and 1 on the living area. Maintains a steady 40ish percent humidity. To do so requires sensors not included with the humidifier. Minimum humidity setting is 40% and it would be nice if they’d let you go lower as when the temps get super cold that can cause condensation on windows. Easy enough to game by “calibrating” the humidity of the sensor to read higher but would be nice to not rely on a workaround. Filters and humidifier are easy to clean which was one of the main reasons for purchase. And the filters being reusable cuts down own cost of ownership.

Scam feature/title
1/31/26: Sent message to switchbot 12/15. “Nic” responded and no eta for firmware fix to enable HomeKit/matter as of 1/31. Still selling as mattter/homekit compatible. Scam.

Switchbot evaporative humidifier
This unit is very good. It does not leave white dust when humidifying the room. It is for use in a separate room like a bedroom. It is best to connect to your smartphone app, as it will get you more versatility with controls than using the unit’s top panel. Using the optional Switchbot thermometer/hygrometer allows the unit to control the humidifier (automatic/percentage of humidity). Finally, if you get the matching Hub, you’ll be able to control/monitor your humidifier remotely via the app, and even use Alexa/Google to control it as well. Great addition to the home with future expansion possibilities. One last point… clean the machine as stated, especially the filter every 10 days as it will need it. I personally purchased a box of two extra filters to ease the humidifier cleaning process. 100% recommended.

Doesn’t work with Matter (Apple Home)
This says it works with matter and bought the hub and the Meter Pro. To realize it does work with Matter (Apple Home)

Great humidifier.
This humidifier increased the humidity in a700sf space in about 6 hours by 20%without being to loud. Level 3 is quiet, level 4 is more obvious but not to loud. No white film anywhere.

You need to buy the Hub and Hygrometer
I don't know why nobody talks about that but half of the features on that humidifier are not available. You can only change the ventilator force. You can't set a humidity percentage or use the auto settings unless you buy one of the hygrometer they sold separately ... so the humidifier can know the humidity in the room. So I've done it. I buy the cheapest they made (25$) and installed it. Connected it to the app and SURPRISE!!! SURPRISE!!! you also need to buy the Hub (70$) so the hygrometer can connect to the humidifier!!! It's 100$ more just to use the feature that are in the humidifier. So be aware because this is not obvious when you buy this thing. UPDATE: Customer service is really good (they offer a full refund) and the product is really good but you need to know that you have to spend 30% more to have all the features, if you don't, you will still have a good humidifier that's connected to your phone.

Bad smell unless run continuously.
This definitely can’t maintain humidity in the advertised 3000 sq ft space during cold weather. Maybe half that much. If you let it run dry it stinks regardless of whether you use the filter drying setting or how often you clean the filter. so you have to keep it going continuously, refilling twice per day. It has a lot of parts, all of which have to be cleaned regularly and there’s no way to disassemble it without dripping water everywhere. The device is over complicated with digital features that won’t last as long as a simpler device would. Basically it’s a bucket of water, a filter and a fan. It should cost $50 and last 20 years but there’s no way anything with a circuitboard will last that long. In summary, This thing requires more care than most pets.
