Will it work when your dog licks it off right after you apply it?

My dog did the same thing, so I would distract him with a treat while applying it and then immediately rubbing it into his skin... he would still lick most of it off, but I applied it 2-3 times a day, rubbing it in each time & it still worked... there was just enough rubbed into the skin that it did indeed work... just takes a little patience and diligence & it pays off... hope this helps...
