Very strong smell. Doesn't smell like patchouli that I'm use to. However, when I mixed it with vanilla and cinnamon, it smells amazing.

I bought this a short time ago. Being a long time user of patchouli I was a bit excited to try another brand. Long time user meaning that there was a time that a fellow police officer and I were talking to a young man outside one of the local casinos. My partner kept ragging the kid about smoking dope, saying that he could smell it on the kid. Well even after being told that it was patchouli and not weed my partner was still ambivalent about the odor. That was about 45 years ago. Being a "Dead Head" Hippie cop I've tried dozens of brands. So back to this product..........might want to save your money. I have not smelled any patchouli odor instead there is a strong chemical odor that apparently is the result to the extraction. i even put it on some old work clothes about five days ago and still it reeks of chemical. Rather than smelling like an old hippie I would smell like a auto mechanic cleaning brake pads or engine parts. I do not like this product.
