Very expensive for what it does.
So far it works fine just wouldn't pay the money for it again. Way overpriced.

Light possibly defective barely produces light after a year of use.
Less than one year later this light barely shows. It’s so dim now it’s not even lighting the pool. I’m in contact with the seller for a new one. Perhaps the one I got was defective. A light at this price should last longer than one year.

Trash
I had this pool light installed by my pool company at the end of last summer. Literally had it on for 2 total hours. Tried turning it on for the first time this summer and it won't stop on a color. It only cycles through the colors and when turning off and on again, it resets itself and starts at the first color again. I called the pool company and they will replace the light but want to charge $150 to come back out to replace it. What a piece of junk this thing is. Less than 5 hours for a few hundred dollars.

Waste of Money
My pool guy sold me this bulb and said it would work fine with my current toggle light switch. It worked a few times, then would not switch to other colors or patterns. He replaced it 'under warranty' and recommended I change out the toggle switch to the ColorSplash XG controller for optimal operation. Controller costs $350 on Amazon. Had I known the bulb and the controller would be a $500 investment, I would have kept my perfectly-working white light.

Croaked after 5 years of light use
I used it in a small pool, about 15' x 30'. It's expensive but does what it's supposed to, and the light shows are nice. It claimed a "maximum lifespan of 50,000 hours". In reality it failed after less than 5 years of being on 3 hours a night (on a timer), so about 5,000 hours. I'm sure it's the control board that failed, not the actual LEDs. I wasn't expecting 50 years of use, but still annoying to have to replace it after so much shorter a lifespan than they implied.

Nice lighting effects
Works perfectly per the directions. Only 23 watts. 13 light options - 7 light shows that change colors and 5 fixed colors. 3 year manufacturer's warranty although with plenty of "fine print." I'm not giving it 5 stars because the price certainly doesn't speak to value. But it is exactly what I was looking for - a programmable, multi-color LED pool light to replace a 300 watt bulb.

Stopped changing colors after 3 months ; basically broken
Stopped working after 3 months- not changing colors and stuck on white at a below usable level of light ; paid $300 with installation and this is basically useless now. Would not recommend.
