medicube Jelly Gel Mask with Salmon DNA PDRN Pink Collagen, 4EA

So I took these with me during a work seminar (you know how they can get - tiring, too much junk food and alcohol) so your skin can suffer. I used these two nights in a row and they never fail me. I looked like a dewy (but hung over) princess when waking up after overnight use. Highly recommend and good value for the money. Also recommend using this for overnight otherwise you’ll waste the mask on just 1 hours use. Wait for it to go transparent! It’s super durable but also the mask is way too big for most women’s faces I imagine, I always have to also cut a few slits into the area where the top of the nose is so that my caveman like deep set brows don’t get in the way of the shape of the mask, and I can then mold it easily around the bridge of my nose - otherwise it just sort of flaps around and doesn’t stick to the skin. (Not the masks fault - just my weird shaped t zone)

I used these for the first time yesterday. They were a good fit and easy to put on. They were a little bit long on my nose but I wiggled it around a bit and then was happy with the fit. I slept in it for about 6 hours. When I woke up it had mostly changed colour and my skin did feel soft and moisturised. I had a very little bit of tingling when I first put it on but I have sensitive skin and this went away within 10 mins andy skin looked moisturised and felt good the next day. My nose looked a bit glassy but the rest of my face didn't when I woke up but I will definitely keep using them as they improved my skin texture

Hands down, this is the best sheet mask I’ve ever tried! I took these on holiday to use after long days in the sun, and they completely exceeded my expectations. My partner isn’t usually interested in face masks, but we both absolutely loved them. The next morning, the difference was incredible. The frown lines I’d developed from squinting in the sun had almost vanished, my skin felt really hydrated and plump, and my makeup went on so much smoother than usual. I looked refreshed and healthy. The masks are really easy to apply, and I actually prefer that they come in two separate pieces, as it makes them much easier to position. I do make a few small snips around the eyes and nose with scissors so they sit perfectly on my face, but that’s just personal preference. I was so impressed that I reordered them as soon as I got home. They’re now a permanent part of my skincare routine.

My skin felt softer and looked fresher the next morning, so I do think they work. If your skin is dry, tired or looking a bit flat, they’re definitely useful. The texture is very much a jelly gel mask, which I mostly liked, but I didn’t completely fall in love with it. It feels cooling and quite cushiony, but it’s not the sort of product I immediately thought “I need to keep buying this forever” about. I’ve used masks that suit my skin and routine a bit better. I also think with things like salmon DNA, PDRN and collagen, it’s worth being realistic. I’m not expecting one overnight mask to perform a minor miracle. What I want is hydration, glow and a bit of bounce, and this does deliver that. So overall, good product, nice results, and

I’ve been enjoying this collagen jelly gel mask whenever my skin feels dehydrated or looks a little dull, and it leaves my skin feeling noticeably softer by the next morning. The mask has a cooling hydrogel texture that feels very comfortable on the skin. It stays in place surprisingly well and doesn’t slide around too much once applied. One of the most interesting features is that the pink gel gradually becomes more transparent as the essence is absorbed, which makes it easy to tell when it’s ready to remove. This colour-changing hydrogel design is one of the product’s signature features. After removing the mask, my skin felt well hydrated, smoother and looked noticeably brighter. My skin feels so smooth after, so worth the money as you get four masks, my skin is plump and moisturised, comes in sturdy packaging and nothing was damaged.

Bought this as I love the Medicube range. However these felt far too fragranced for me to keep on for a prolonged period of time, it felt irritable on my skin after a few minutes. A mouth hole is pretty small so I had to slice either side of it so I could move. It also felt quite difficult for it to sit in place it kept moving around for a while. This is comparing to my usual Biodance collagen masks which I use regularly, they are much nicer on the skin compared to these which is disappointing as I love the Medicube range.
