Can the small one mount a macbook pro 2014?

In my opinion, I think it can. I have a Manhattan T1 freeview box mounted behind my TV, which is a tiny device, similar in thickness to the Macbook pro.

Does what it says...

It's a bit expensive but very well built and easy to install. Does job great. Only issue had was dvd player didn't like being loaded sideways on but once get knack of putting dvd in it plays fine!
