Excellent book for PMP preperation
I recommend this book for the PMP aspirants. It covered all the topics for PMP in simpler way and arranged content in organized fashion. Lot of topics are covered with required depth to clear the PMP exam. Thank you very much for coming up with this book.As every product will have its own improvement areas. Here I am listing some of them. This feedback does not mean book is not good. Book is good but it will be better to make more improvementsLead and lag should have been discussed with some better examples. It should have discussed the lead and lag concepts in context of FS,FF, SS and SF.Control charts and possibility of process being out of control, should have been discussed with examplesPrecision and accuracy needs good examplesI brought kindle edition of this book. Quite often top lines are cut and not able read, but it happens primarily 'exam questions' section and 'No questions are dumb'

Useful supplement for learning
This is s good book to supplement your learning. This is primarily for people who are new or starting to learn about PMP. If you undergo any formal training for PMP exam then this is not required

The Best and the Simplest book for PMP Prep.
I used only this 'brain friendly' PMP guide, and cleared my PMP exam. 2 months of intense preparation with this book was all I did.I had bought my copy of Head First PMP in December 2013. I received it in 3 working days, in excellent condition. As for the content of the book - the topics and the questions covered exactly follow the actual examination. I studied the book cover to cover 2 times, and attempted all the questions by simulating real exam conditions. The model question templates that Head First highlights have all appeared in the real exam.In the actual exam, there are lots of scenario based questions, and this book prepares you for exactly that. Don't get carried away by the 'free questions' available on the internet that mostly focus on knowing ITTO (Inputs, Tools, Techniques, and Output) theory. Rest assured that if you study the contents of this book properly, you will clear the exam with ease.-- Aravind Naick, PMP®

Head first coupled with Rita mulcahy can help clear PMP in 1 go
A must have....went by Roji Abraham's advise and read/studied 2 books : Head First and Rita Mulcahy...and cleared with above Target scores in my 1st attempt.Head first must be the first one to be read... followed by Mulcahy. Did not read pmbok at all.Head first is superb to make the base/foundation...and the building can rest easy on Rita mulcahy later...Pmp as for me is a test of your understanding (30% weightage), logico-rational reasoning (30%weightage) and English(40% weightage) ....Head first gives you all three...1 casual read of head first followed by 2 deep dives later...10 days before exams will help. After 1 casual read of head first, you are ready to read mulcahy....and get exam tips from it.Both books proved indispensable for me.

5 stars for the book it is.
I need not explain why this book is considered as one of the most must-haves for PMP preparations, you already know that and that is probably why you are here. Five stars are only for the book it is!Now, I must agree with most of the reviewers here that the binding quality of this book is 'pathetic'. So bad that as soon as you start flipping through pages, they start falling down like stack of cards. I agree that one shouldn't be complaining since the book is made "legally" available in India at its 1/7th of international cost but, seriously, we deserve a little better too.

I would recommend this book to any one preparing for the PMP
I would recommend this book to any one preparing for the PMP. Before I switched to this, I was reading the Rita. Believe me when I say after I got this I do not think I have gone back to Rita. The pictorial representation helped me clear the exam in my first go. Now that is not to say Rita's book is bad. It is just that this presents it in a manner whereby memorizing images is easier than pages of text.

Awesome and Interesting
The book is pretty interesting to read unlike PMBOK which keeps ur mind boggling n forces u to by heart the content... Headfirst is a great book which explains u all the concepts using scenarios which will help you further get a strong hold when u pick up PMBOK

Good book. Maybe not for everyone's liking
This is considered one of the goto books of PMP exam preparation. It is illustrative and shows pictorial representation to make the understanding easier. Some like it, and some don't. I felt that the book did not do justice in explaining each of the concepts under the 10 knowledge areas in detail as the exam comprises of questions which are not always direct.
