Used it to treat black beard algae after fighting it for months with other treatments . It took Care of the algae and made my tank clearer that it’s ever been.

Purchased to help tackle black beard algae. It works but if you use too much it will kill the plants and I found I had to put more in than the instructions called for. I won’t buy again. Had better luck with hydrogen peroxide sprayed on the plant. I have shrimp in my display tank and was quite concerned they would not fare so well. So removed the plants, and treated in a small spare tank.

I keep coming back to Seachem Flourish Excel because it consistently helps my aquarium plants stay healthy and grow well. After regular dosing, I’ve noticed stronger growth and better overall plant appearance. It’s easy to dose, and the bottle lasts a good amount of time depending on tank size.
