I am writing this before wearing them outside or for long periods of time but they seem to be well enough to hold up and not slide down your leg (will update this if they ever do). I have bigish thighs albeit its mostly muscles from sports they dont give me muffon tops.Update:After 9 hours or running up and down stairs and across one of the largest campuses in the US they on the last hour as i was running down stairs slid. I would say these are pretty good socks. The fabric is thin enough for warn weather, especially since it is almost entirely cotton, and stretchy and fits like tights. They are quite comfortable.
