Sold as six individual 12g chips, it eliminates the need for harsh degreasers by combining cleaning and waxing into one simple step, delivering pro-level drivetrain performance and eco-friendly maintenance. ## Description Product description SILCA's StripChip eliminates the need for a traditional bike chain degreaser by transforming factory grease into chain wax, simplifying your chain preparation. Each 12g StripChip piece acts as a powerful bicycle degreaser, binding with factory grease on new chains, allowing hot melt wax to penetrate deep into the pins and rollers. This process not only serves as an effective bike chain cleaner, but also prepares your chain for optimal lubrication with a bike chain lubricant. SILCA’s advanced technology ensures a clean, quiet, and ultra-efficient drivetrain, while the convenient candy bar-like form makes it easy to use. One piece will effectively eliminate factory grease from one chain during immersive chain waxing. For the best results, pair StripChip with SILCA’s Super Secret Chain Blend Hot Melt Wax (sold separately), ensuring your drivetrain stays clean and performing at its best. Additionally, use SILCA's Super Secret liquid wax as a “top off” in between hot wax treatments. Enjoy reduced friction, minimized wear, and enhanced performance with every ride, making it the perfect bike chain cleaner and lubricant solution. Experience the ultimate in durability and efficiency with bike chain wax that lasts longer and works harder. Cleaning is so much easier - instead of long sessions scrubbing with a nylon brush and degreaser, you just use hot water to melt the wax and rinse the dirt away. Way less mess, far less hassle, and much more environmentally friendly. I won’t be going back to oiled chains. Review: Wax, the only way. - Great stuff, does what it says on the tin! ## Features - BIKE CHAIN DEGREASER: Eliminate the need for harsh chemicals and bike chain cleaners when degreasing new factory chains. With StripChip bike chain degreaser, it’s straight into the hot wax for simple preparation. - ADVANCED TECH: The built-in cycling degreaser binds with factory grease on new chains, transforming it into chain wax. StripChip saves time and expense while ensuring a clean, quiet, and ultra-efficient drivetrain. - EASY TO USE: This efficient solution replaces the need for a separate chain degreaser, simplifying and speeding up the process. Go from factory-greased chain to waxed chain in 10 minutes. - CONVENIENT: Sold in a block of six pieces that easily break apart.
