Fine speakers, work well in my garden.

Let me just say this, I am in the audio/video business and I wanted to get some not so expensive speakers for an outside area that really is not needed for loud music. I was a little leery about buying something normally not what I’d pay for speakers outside. I’d pay a lot more but being that these were just going to be used for an area that is really not important for sound. I just went ahead and bit the bullet and boy was I glad I did. I was not expecting the incredible sound out of these speakers. Before I had four landscaping speakers in place of this one. I put just two of these in and the sound was unbelievable. I was thinking that I would need two more but it’s not needed anymore. The sound of these things produce is beyond what I can describe. I am very impressed with the sound from these speakers, obviously! I hope they last though!

I like to think of my self as a casual audiophile, I know good speakers when I hear them but I still like to get the best bang for my dollar. I really was not expecting a good sounding speaker from a hundred dollar pair of rocks so this might have colored my impression of these speakers. That being said, the stereo separation and clarity of these RS670 speakers are very good, there is even a decent amount of bass. Of course you will not get anything below 50Hz out of 6.5 inch speakers without destroying most of your mid-range so when I say good bass I'm referring to 120Hz down to 50Hz. A small 10" sub would really round out the sound. When properly placed the staging is impressive but listening off axis is not bad either with just a noticeable drop in highs. I have a pair of Polk Atrium 8's on the patio and while I'd give the win to Polk, they cost 4x the price of these little rocks. Well done OSD audio!

I've had a couple of Stereostone speakers in my front yard for around 15 years, and one of them finally gave up the ghost. When I saw that a single replacement speaker was $300 I searched Amazon for options. These speakers are certainly worth the money at $100 per pair versus the price of the stereostone speakers, but they are a bit lacking. They are about 1/3 the weight and the volume of the enclosure is smaller, resulting in less bass than I get from my old speaker. It appears to have decent highs and mid-range balance, and they should be perfectly fine as background music for parties. I don't expect these to last nearly as long as my previous speakers, but for $500 less than a pair of Stereostones I can replace them a couple of times if needed. So far I'm happy with the purchase.

We bought these 7 years ago and they're still going strong! We live in Phoenix with occasional below freezing winters and summers above 118° F. They sit under hedges that get irrigation regularly too. They still sound great, and fill our yard with tunes while I'm working out there or when we have a party.

One speaker of the pair shipped blown out. The speaker that functions sounds good, but clearly one is malfunctioning/ blown ...Purchased as a holiday gift and just installing now. Bummer as this is technically out of Amazon's return window. Hoping OSD/Amazon makes things right here

They seam to be decent speakers for outdoor( no tweeters so all mid range, poor vocals) but the color is no where near what is pictured on amazon. The boxes said brown but i would call them a greyish brown not the sandstone coconia brown that the picture depicts. I wonder if all 4 i bought were miss labeled as grey?

I'm so impressed by these speakers that I can't stop raving about them. They sound incredible, and I've set them wide enough that it provides a lovely stereo sound. I can't speak for how it handles rain and snow, as I've only used it during this summer, but the sound is perfect, and they look pretty good too. Will buy again.

Great sounding speaker being used around the pool, will get to more!

Ordered these a few years back. They sounded really good but one of the woofers dropped out and there is no way to access the internal wiring (they are completely sealed). I got a couple of seasons out of them and then had them in dry storage for a year while I changed houses. After a year or so they brown paint on the rock starts to chip. I imagine one could repaint them.
