Paper quality is good but too heavy to carry while traveling...

Easy to use
My 5th grader needed some review in English/ writing and this book has several short easy lessons. I helped her with a few game like activities that were a bit confusing, but it only took a minute to explain the activity which was nice. This is a good tool for reluctant learners.

I really like these books for math
I really like these books for math, the reading are not as good, my daughter is working through it, but I like the spectrum series more,

Used on all 4 kids.
I've used this on all four of your kids, now it's the youngest turn. It is super simple for the kids to do. Also we are homeschoolers, this was their 'language arts'. The most important part is they retain all of this. I didn't stress and let the kids do a page or two a day. The other day my two older ones took the ASVAB and scored the highest on these section.

Thorough and engaging lessons
I used this for tutoring. My 5th grader is actively learning by asking questions about definitions, synonyms, and antonyms. She also comes up with her own sentences to better understand how to use the word. Also, fun activities such as tic-tac-toe and word search are great at the end of sessions.
