I was hoping for a better experience, but about 10 out of 24 chocolate hearts arrived partially opened, and some of them were noticeably larger than the others. The taste was okay, but nothing special. If you’re buying these for gifting, I recommend ordering extras to account for opened pieces. Nice idea, but quality control and taste needs improvement.

Be aware that the product picture doesn’t reflect the accurate quantity for all the offered sizes. I purchased the half pound package for $13.99. It weighed 10oz and contained 27 chocolates. The package states they are made in Florida, US. However, I don’t recommend these. I saw reviews that showed the wrappers being bad, but I took a chance hoping QC had improved. The wrappers were indeed really bad and didn’t cover the whole chocolate on well over half the contents. In the picture the right side section are the only ones wrapped completely. The middle has small gaps and the left has large gaps. I spent time “fixing” the wrappers but decided not to use them in the end. The “chocolate” quality was really poor. For the steep price this is simply not ok. Luckily the store had Dove chocolate hearts (8oz for $6) to replace these ones in time for Valentine’s Day.
