Very nice. GOTS organic cotton
I bought this since I stuff my own be pillows and other pillows. I have been switching everything I can switch to eco friendly items in my home. It’s a big project and a little more expensive but worth it. I was concerned what the texture would be compared to polyester stuffing. I was pleasantly surprised. I make the pillows a medium firm weight so I can sleep on my side without my neck hurting from too soft of a pillow.. There are no pillows on the market that I know are good for side sleepers who sleep close to the corners of the pillow. This stuffings works great! It actually stays in the corners of the pillow easier then slippery polyester. This cotton has a nice earthy smell. It makes you feel so clean sleeping on a clean pillow. I also bought gots certified pillow cases to put the stuffing in. I’d much rather breathe in organic cotton while sleeping than chemical polyester made from petroleum. I did find some small twigs, seeds and other harder pieces at times but not a big deal. I made sure to pull it apart so it was fluffy for the pillows. I bought a 10 lb bag since I plan to make some throw pillows with organic cotton material. Love this. So happy to have found it.

Its super soft I used it to make tiny pillows
Its super soft i used it to make two tiny pillows, you get a good amount, but if you're going to make a full size pillow, I recommend getting the larger size 5lbs, once you fluffy it its a good size, it's a bit pricey but it's worth it to buy organic, it will last for a long time durability is good, it works well for stuffing my crochet projects as well There are little bits of dried leafs but I don't mind, it's really thickly, packed into the package, but fluffs up over time

Stuff a healthy bed pillow
Good stuff! After stuffing a new bed pillow with this organic cotton, I threw my foam pillow 🤮 in the trash! I didn’t mind the smell, or the teeny, teeny plant particles-there weren’t many.

So soft! and cleaner than the description!
I bought the 1 lb bags, was tempted to go for the 5 lb bag but it was from "other sellers" and that gets risky with sources and QA/QC and returns. First I bought 2 and fluffed them up out of the vacuum seal for a few days. Was a bit disappointed in the size tho because people answering questions and giving reviews have very different ideas about how much fills what (they never make anything similar to the person asking!). I wanted to make a regular sleeping pillow, but smaller and firmer than usual so I could customize it to cradle my neck injury. Someone said 3# was a floor pillow (they stuff cats toys haha) so I thought 2 would be more than enough. I just ordered 2 more pounds because this should be just about what I need or more. It is delightfully soft and so beautiful and MUCH cleaner than expected! From the description I expected seeds and stems and all kinds of plant material but it looks like it has been ginned. There are some plant residue pieces throughout but small and not noticeable in the softness of workability! I can't wait to make my custom pillow!

Wonderful Stuffing Material!
I ordered the Organic Raw Cotton to make a new/replacement bolster for my little dog's bed. After 5 years of washing, the old bolster was coming apart in my washer. The original was poly filled and I wanted to make it out of more natural materials. I sewed the bolster out of muslin (I had purchased a bolt of the muslin fabric here on Amazon) and then bought 2lbs of the Organic Raw Cotton to stuff it. I have added a photo of the inside of the bag of Raw Cotton I received (as I was stuffing). I didn't clean it, and for the clean freak that I am, I didn't feel the need to clean it because it was just some plant material. I used the entire 2 lbs. because I wanted it kind of firm like the poly was. I also added photos so you can see what a bolster is, and maybe get a reference for how much one might need for a specific project you might be working on. The bright white and decaying bolster in the 2nd photo is the poly filled. The ivory colored bolster, closest to the doggie in the 2nd photo, is the new muslin and Raw Cotton filled. Stuffing the muslin was super easy with the cotton because I pulled it apart then stuffed a snowball size in. This loosened some of the plant matter and made it super lofty. I think it turned out better than the original, and of course, Bing loves his bed and jumped right in when it was complete (3rd photo).

Cotton is King
I restore antique composition dolls. Our grandparents used cotton to stuff their dolls, so it was a challenge to find genuine raw cotton for my efforts. I've found the motherlode of clean, useable cotton for this purpose. Even though cotton is extremely durable, 80 year old cotton won't wash out properly. This product is fresh and firm and I'm delighted with it's unique properties while filling my antiques. The price is reasonable and they actually send it through the mail, rather than yet another shipping box from UPS. It is vacuum packed which can be a minor issue, be prepared to use another container for storage. Compared to fiberfill? No contest! Cotton is King.

Safe, clean and allergy free.
Awesome! I bought the 5 lb bag and generously stuffed two Queen/Jumbo bed pillow cases and there was enough left over for a third pillow. I bought four new cotton zippered pillow cases, using one for the stuffed pillow and the other to act as a pillow protector which I remove to wash. Its important, when stuffing to really pull the cotton apart like candy floss and slip it inside and shake, then add more. At first my husband found it a bit to full so we removed it in increments until we got it right. I would easily do this again for custom comfort.

Great price, great service and it came on-time.
Raw cotton is great to put in a basket for the gold finches to make their nests. They love it, and so do we. PLUS IT'S ORGANIC. Finches only like organic cotton :)

What you see is what you get
Exactly as described. Unprocessed raw cotton. Ideal for my own purpose, to produce a cool white smoke from my bee smoker when checking my hives. Unable to comment on suitability for other applications.

Great natural alternative to polyester fill
Love this cotton, smells great (though if like me you suffer with multiple chemical sensitivity and mast cell activation syndrome, it is not overwhelming, though we are all different!) and is excellent quality! I've bought 6 bags all together for pillows, cushions and making my dogs bed.
