Soles started falling off after 1 year. They are also not waterproof, even with application of mink oil. Feet always were wet. Boots are not worth $300

The build quality of these boots exceeds anything I have had before in a boot. I had to return it because it was a little too tight, but that is because of me and not the manufacturer. I think they run true to size, but my feet have become just a little wider over the years. I couldn't get them in the wide version, but I bought another pair from the same company and manufacturer that arrived today. They happen to fit perfectly and are the reason I hopped on here for the review. I prefer boots made in America, Europe, or Australia and they can be hard to come by these days.

The tongue design on these boots is not good. The portion where is folds is right where your ankle is and is immediately painful when the boot is put on. I have folded it in a way that helps, but the pain is still noticeable. It seems like they should have sewn the tongue up higher on the shin like other boots I've owned. That way the would be water proof much higher up as well. I'm hoping the break in process will help. Not impressed. 1 week into purchase. After the first day of light use, noticed fairly large chunks of leather on the toe is missing. Seems like every time boot is bumped into something it takes a chunk out of the leather. Hopefully I can return these.

Great boots! Comfortable from day 1 and very durable! I would recommend these to anybody.

Very nice boots. They were too narrow. I wear a 10.5 D in other Thorogood boots with no width issues. I returned these. Doesn't look like they offer these in wide size.
