Review: Light and No Sticky Finish - I was introduced to the Drunk Elephant line about a year ago. I used the Shaba Complex Eye Serum and REALLY liked the product. However, the cost is a little ridiculous at 0.5 fl oz. for $60... that is steep. I also tried the Protini Polypeptide Cream as my base moisturizer for my makeup and I wan't really impressed with the tacky feeling it left on my skin or the heavy, mask-like feeling once it dried. I really like the Drunk Elephant line so I decided to try the Lala Retro Whipped Cream Replenishing Moisturizer and I am in love. It does not have a true scent, which is appealing to me because scentless means less chemicals. I get dryness around the corners of my mouth and the outer corners of my eyes but I have noticed those areas, which have are prone to peeling, have not been peeling since I started using the Whipped formula as my moisturizer under my makeup and nighttime moisturizer. It is light, soft, and non-tacky once dried. My skin feel so soft and there is no residual tacky, mask-like feeling that I had with the Protini Polypeptide Cream. I have combination fair - medium skin, blonde hair, and hazel eyes. My forehead gets extremely oily but the skin around my eyes and mouth gets dried out and peels. That has now stopped. This product is one that I truly love and have not had an issue with at all! My acne has even subsided. I highly recommend the Lala Retro Whipped Cream Moisturizer.

**Q: Is this cruelty free?**
A: Drunk Elephant is in fact cruelty free and does not believe in testing products on any animals-including elephants :)

**Q: the jar with the airless pump....can the top be unscrewed to be refilled (if so desired)?**
A: yes and I have done that. I had a lala cream that was in an open top jar and I transferred it to the pump jar.

**Q: Does this firm up ones skin?**
A: I wouldn’t say it’s super firming - however, it is super thick and hydrating so when it drying it does give the feeling of slightly firmer skin, although I haven’t noticed serious long term effects

**Q: can you use retinol with this?**
A: Yes! I use retinol with it every day!
