Maykway Curry Sauce Mix Mild 3 x 170g

I remember my uncle making this for us at my grandmothers when I was a child....Now at 51 I'm still using this myself. Love it..really like chippy curry. Probably wasted on me though as I throw it over egg & chips....totally transforms what otherwise is a boring meal. I sometimes throw some in baked beans (along with a little water) to make my own version of Heinz curried beans. Always did wonder why my local Asda stopped stocking Maykway.Since the review above...still can't get hold of this other than online...but discovered an alternative in a well known bargain food shop...Either Farm Foods or Iceland....by Mayflower...in a square box but still powder & it's just as nice/very similar that there's no justification for buying this online anymore.

I do not like this curry sauce, very salty and has a bad aftertaste, what a waste :(I'm trying different types of curry sauce mix and sofar my Best to Least favorite are:Goldfish > Wing Yip > S&B > Maysan > MayflowerThe worst sofar has been: Maykway and Mai MaiI will update when i have experimented with it and others more..

Been wanting something like this for ages as love chip shop curry sauce but don't really like take away fish and chip.This is amazing!!! Exactly like the traditional British chip shop curry sauce (the yellowish coloured one)Even got my mum and sister on it and they all. Love it too.Took a couple of trys to get the right consistency to how I really like it but even the others times it still tasted good 😋Already bought 2nd lot

I love this curry powder. The mild is great for the kids and the hot (not really spicy) is what I love. So quick and easy to make. One of my favourites.

Mild with a lovely slight kick of spice the more mouthfuls you have. Reminds me of chippy / chinese curry sauce, very yummy, shall be buying lots more, used 2 heap spoonfuls as recommended on tin and was perfect.

My family have used this for years right back to the mail order days from Birmingham in the 90's.

Love this sauce, easy to use and very tasty.

Good curry need bigger pots ov this bit pricey tho
