The wood is solid and the size is perfect.
This replaced my old original wooden rack that fell, broke, cracked, glued, etc. etc. You can see in the 2nd pic that they are the same exact size. I have an 8ft table with 2.25" balls. This is solid and quality that will last a long time I can already tell. The thickness is the same as the original also and was a great price compared to others. I did not want plastic or thin and the others seemed cheap compared to this by description. Really glad I got this one.

Good rack.
My fingers fit to pick the balls from the rack to rearrange them. Looks great but the assembly screw heads are not all flush to the triangle.
