I love this! It's easy to use, easy to clean, and makes an unlimited variety. I set out a variety of frozen fruit for 10 minutes, then put different combinations in single serve containers in freezer. Guilt free snack available at all times! Frozen sorbet needs to be allowed to thaw slightly before eating. I always use some banana for texture, but always use other fruit for taste. So far my favorite is red grapes (wash and freeze whole). They are great alone or mixed. Another good combo is strawberry kiwi lime. Tip: the membrane between lime sections has to be removed before freezing, but it's easy after peel is cut off and lime cut into smaller pieces. Orange sections grind up completely and are tasty. Frozen peaches need to sit at room temperature for longer than 10 minutes. Those babies are rugged! Also good is cantaloupe and any berries or cherries. Haven't tried apples yet. I can't wait to try watermelon! Just know that it DOES make noise - it's an electric grinder. It also doesn't change the taste of fruit, just the temperature and texture, so it won't make you like fruit if you don't already. Also, you have to clean up right away (one reviewer was disappointed at the mess on the counter when left to melt). I just rinse 5 parts with hot water, and occasionally put them in the dishwasher. Comes apart and goes together very easily. I bought one for my mom too! She wanted one after I told her about it.

This product was recommended to me for making easy, “ ice cream” treats. It is so easy to use and fruit flavored cool treats are awesome. Slightly ripe frozen bananas and almost any fruit combinations result in creamy goodness. This machine runs pretty much every day in the summer in my house for me and my dogs. It comes with a small recipe book that gave me some good ideas but I have taken to the next level of good ness. I make a batch of banana and pumpkin pupcicles for the dogs and put in small ice cube trays, they love it. Easy to set up and use although it is a bit loud. Clean up is super easy, minimal parts. Holding up well with continuous use over the summer. The texture of the bananas is like thick ice cream, I was surprised because I thought it would be more like ice popsicles. Overall great product if you like bananas and frozen fruit. It is not super sweet like you would expect it to be from bananas and frozen fruit. Frozen blueberries , mango chunks, pineapple, cherries all work well. Frozen pumpkin cubes are good too. I would definitely buy this product again.

Note to self… don’t put cacao powder in to make a chocolate ‘ice cream’. It will break. Also doesn’t give a consistent, mixed result.
