I intend to use about 8 of these to fit a breakfast bar back panel which needs to be held up off the ground. Will these take the weight?

I would have thought so. They were used behind the toilet in the bathroom and ensuite so is presumably supporting the weight of the toilet and it hasn't moved in over 6 months.
