In my opinion, the Double Rich Chocolate is the best protein flavor I’ve ever tasted. If it’s your first time buying a protein powder, I’d definitely recommend starting with this flavor. It tastes great without being overly sweet, and it’s easy to drink every day. I really trust Optimum Nutrition. Their Gold Standard Whey has a great reputation, and after using it myself I can see why. It mixes easily, digests well, and I haven’t experienced any stomach upset or heartburn, even when I drink a shake late at night. I’ve been very happy with the results. Combined with regular training and a good diet, I noticed improvements fairly quickly, and it makes it much easier to reach my daily protein intake. One tip: wash your shaker as soon as you’ve finished your shake. Like most protein powders, if you leave the residue sitting for too long, it will develop a really bad smell that’s difficult to get rid of. Also, if anyone is wondering whether it comes with a scoop, it does. You can see it in the photos I uploaded. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this protein powder. Great taste, excellent quality, easy on the stomach, and I’ll definitely keep buying it.

I tried this whey protein in the Double Rich Chocolate flavour and it mixes easily, without clumps. The texture is smooth and the chocolate taste is pleasant — but only when mixed with milk. With water, the flavour becomes weak and slightly bitter, so I didn’t enjoy it that way. Using milk makes the shake thicker and improves the taste a lot, making it easier to drink after workouts. The powder dissolves quickly in both milk and water, and it doesn’t leave residue at the bottom of the shaker. It’s a good option if you prefer taking whey with milk, but if you usually mix your protein with water, this flavour may not be the best choice.

Tastes great and I was really happy with this product initially but I would say it doesn’t dissolve super well and leaves chunks of protein. I only purchased this product less than a month ago and it has increased in price by around £7 which is quite a big increase in such a small space of time.

I have been using this product for over a year and there is no better flavour than the rich chocolate. It’s like a treat when I drink it daily. Also no unnecessary nasties in the ingredients. My favourite tasting protein by a distance! Optimum nutrition always delivers with the double rich chocolate, and it tastes great as a hot chocolate alternative. Its not super thick which I really like, making it easy to mix and also to digest. Plus this little tub was perfect to take on holiday!

This is my go-to protein powder after trying several budget options (Myprotein, Bulk Powders), and several higher cost options (Sci Mx, ESN, Dymatize). My main reason for choosing this over the competition is how well it dissolves. I use 2 scoops with 500ml of liquid. Whole milk when I'm gaining weight, water when I'm losing weight. In both cases I put it in a shaker with no shaker ball or any other gadgets, shake for about 10 seconds, and I have never once had a clump of undissolved powder. The texture is uniform and smooth every time. In terms of taste, it's just "good". Some protein powder I have found to have an unpleasant taste, and others I have found to have too strong a taste. This is perfectly pleasant, without being overpowering. If you want a shake that tastes like a rich dessert, this is probably not your best option. If you want something that is perfectly palatable without being either chemically, gritty, or too sweet, then I think this is highly worth the money

C'est la première fois que je prends de la protéine, j'ai commencé ce matin et 10 mn après j'ai eu très mal à l'estomac! J'ai dû aller me coucher tellement que je n'étais pas bien. A l'heure où j'écris ce commentaire j'ai toujours mal. Peut-être que mon corps n'est pas habitué où peut-être que cette protéine ne convient pas à mon corps. Je suis un peu déçu car j'avais hâte d'essayer cette protéine par rapport aux avis positif et malheureusement mon corps ne le digère pas. Par contre le goût est très bon, j'ai pris chocolat. j'essaierai une autre marque pour voir si je rencontre le même soucis qu'avec celui-ci. Rectification de mon commentaire. J'ai retenté cette protéine deux jours après mais cette fois-ci avec du lait froid! Car oui je dois être blonde 🙄je pensais que je pouvais la prendre avec du lait tiède ce que j'avais fait! (Ne faites pas la même erreur que moi!) et je crois que c'est à cause de cela que j'ai eu mal à l'estomac. Mais cette fois-ci plus rien! Aucune douleur depuis que je la prends avec du lait froid. Vu que c'est la première fois que j'en prends je pense pouvoir être pardonnée de mon erreur de jugement 😬. Je change mon avis et je vous la conseille en plus c'est bon!
