I was pleasantly surprised with this Bible! I'm dyslexic, and I find reading the small-print equivalents to be headache-inducing and far from enjoyable experience. The print of this book is of a perfect size for me. The square shape of the book is a little bit odd, but it isn't too large or too heavy to make it uncomfortable for reading it for long periods.A lovely, well presented Bible, with an even-more lovely large font.

This is a lovely Bible and beautifully made. The pages are frighteningly thin but have bought a pack of highlighter coloured pencils which can be used to highlight text without showing through to other side so am now very pleased.

Page shape is squarish rather than portrait. The words exactly as expected and described. Arrived promptly.

This bible is so good, clear large print, nice colour leather bound. Unusually square.It was bought as a birthday gift for my husband and I KNOW that he will be delighted with it.Well done again, Amazon, you really are the best!!😊

i did not loke the material of the cover but otherwise it was great.

Better than I expected. Arrived within the time quoted. Bought to use to read in church and as such is perfect. Should last a long time as the cover is excellent and fits in the hand well.

Beautiful Bible and the large lettering is great and allows for easy reading.

This square Harper's large-print Bible is a brilliant shape and size for easy reading, and the text is very easy to read at the large size. I think it is 12 point and i wish, given that the large type is the key feature of this Bible, that the publishers would name the font and its size. The soft cover makes it comfortable to hold this Bible on your lap. I ordered the tan cover - faux leather - which is quietly pleasant.I chose this over the latest Oxford NRSV because, although I prefer the lovely font used in the Oxford Bible, the huge volume of study notes in it would disrupt simple reading and contemplation.I only give this Harper's NRSV four stars because the American spelling jars on me and because the type bleed-through from the other side of the page is a minus. It's not a big problem at all, though. More upsetting is the American spelling. I wish this came with English spelling. Otherwise, a worthy product and a good price.New Revised Standard Version Bible No Apocrypha (Brown)

My only complaint is that this is not what I would call a large print Bible! It is possibly an 11 font, so it is very readable, and the pages are quite opaque, so the print on the other side of the page does not show through much at all. Thus, my 71 year old eyes can read it very well.The sewn binding is good, and enables the Bible to lay out flat. A very nice feature!Someone said the margins are extra wide, this is not true. They are normal width, but being a wider Bible than usual, it doesn't have to be as thick. It is right at 1 1/4" thick -- making it a nice size to carry, not a big thick Bible.If you are looking for a truly large print, and it doesn't have to be NRSV, then I love my ESV in the large print. Great translation. Wonderful Bible!I would recommend it with the one reservation.

This large print NRSV Bible is ideal for use when preaching or doing wedding, funerals, or other public speaking engagements. It is not heavy, has a nice shape (more square than rectangular, but I like that a lot) and not overly thick. When open, I can easily hold it in one hand, but admittedly, I do have big hands.I am not a fan of leather, and the cover does not feel like leather. Whatever material it is, I like the feel and texture of it. The exterior color is more a medium brownish or dark taupe. Color is very subjective and hard to describe. The text is easily readable and is in the NRSV, which is God's word in our modern English language. The pages are not too thin and the book seems well constructed ad durable.I purchased this Bible to replace my personal preaching Bible which I have been using since 1996. That copy served me very well and hopefully this new one will do so for as long.My grade, an A product.

It was a little short that I expected, but in general I like. Now I don't have any problems in reading, the printing is big.
