The allen wrench was ONLY useful for the screw to the center support, forget using it for the legs. The legs have NO pre-screwed holes on the brace, so you're doing ALL that work! AGAIN, the allen wrench is useless for this, you'll need a phillips screwdriver or drill (if you're VERY careful).LOOK/FINISH:The dark brown is darker than pictured, it's closer to espresso brown, it works but not what I expected. The screws for the legs are brass, so there is a very overt contrast to the finish of the wood. I may paint it white to make it appear a bit more uniform and go better in the room.All ans all, it's ok. It looks like the kids play version of what an adult plant stand would look like, if that makes any sense.
