Must have diaper shell!
As someone new to cloth diapering, finding the right one can be overwhelming. These diapers are a must have! I use them for my toddler, who is 21 months old. So I can't share how they fit babies. But to give an idea for older tots, here's what I have to say. Used for? 21 month old BOY, weighs approximately 28lbs Forgive me now, I don't know all the lingo for cloth diapering. PROS: 1. Many sizing options. My son is a little on the tall side, not overly tall, but tall none the less. I can either button down one level, or just use it on the largest size. Really depends how lazy I'm being. 2. Waist size options! My goodness this sucker can snap for slender babies and chunky babies alike. The waist flaps even snap onto each other for small babies. There is also the option of the extra hip snap. I have another CD and it works, but only offers a minimal hip snap. These diapers offer the extra hip/leg snap all the way across, same amount as the waist! This is AMAZING! 3. Leg gussets? I think that's what it is called. It offers 2 layers of elastic around the legs. The inner, and the outside. I love this feature, as it offers more leak resistance. And really holds things in (we had one explosive diaper I'm fairly certain would have been a disaster in any of my other diapers) 4. You can use any style insert in it, including the snap type. If you look at my photos, I'm pointing to a snap. That is for the inside, to allow you to snap inserts INSIDE the diaper. 5. Large insert coverage...I'm not sure how to phrase that part. But the flaps inside the diaper for holding the inserts are longer than my other type. This can be a slight downside, but easily remedied. I recommend using a liner that isn't tucked inside. If not, then poop WILL get on the diaper portion that isn't easily wiped off and you'll need a new one. CONS: This really isn't a bad thing, but thought I would share it anyway 1. Poop can get to the diaper inside. If it reaches the back of the diaper, you really can't just wipe it off and reuse it. You will need to change the diaper to a new one at that change. This can be fixed by using a liner (not insert) that you place on the top of the insert and diaper. Do not tuck it inside the flaps with the insert. These diapers truly are amazing and I recommend them to anyone looking for a good diaper and an affordable price.

Sizing is flexible
These are great. I typically buy from a smaller company but they have longer ship times and my baby outgrew her other covers too quickly! The snaps are plentiful offering lots of variety for fit which I love. Don’t super love the assortment of patterns but there are options. The wet bag is great too.

Hold up long term.
I absolutely love these covers. I bought a set for my first kid and they have lasted constant use for almost 3 years now. I have had no issues with the waterproof wearing out, and there is only one or two of them where I can see stitching starting to unravel. The buttons are super secure, and they are so cute! I bought a second set when I had my second, just so I had enough for two in diapers, and definitely will be using these if I ever need more!

Used to disappoint; Now they are great
REVISED REVIEW: I have had a complete change of heart. It's been a year and I actually really like these covers a lot. No, they aren't 100% waterproof on the inside. This means you CAN'T wipe out the inside and reuse them before washing. BUT if you use them one at a time and just have a good amount of covers, it's totally fine. I would say you would need no LESS than a dozen of these covers and lots of inserts. But really, you would need more than that for a good system. These didn't work with the way I used to use cloth diapers but hey, I needed some so I just dealt with it. These are totally fine. They are a good price. They're cute and they are perfectly functional. The elastics can still be kind of tight on chunky legs but they aren't bothersome on our babies extra chunky legs. So if you want something economical, these are totally fine. Thanks for reading! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really want to like these diaper covers but I just don't. I've been cloth diapering on and off again for 7 years and our method is the most economical: waterproof covers and prefolds inside. THAT'S IT! Nothing fancy, no snappis, no inserts inside pockets. Just a cover and some liners. Well, this is a great deal but...there's much better out there because of some basic problems with the design of these covers. 1. The elastics are very tight around the legs and there's no way to really adjust that. 2. The pockets on the inside that hold the liners are pretty long which isn't terrible? But its inconvenient when you're trying to wipe them down/clean them. 3. My LEAST favorite part is inside the cover, there's a wide layer of cotton fabric where the snaps are. So your waterproof cover actually has cotton inside that gets wet with every single use (see photo). One of the coolest benefits to waterproof covers is that they are WATERPROOF and can be wiped down and reused a few times before needing to throw them in the wash. I am certain this cotton layer is to reinforce the snaps but other covers make them skinnier so you can reuse them (Flip covers for example). Maybe people don't care about washing every single time with every single diaper but that means you have to buy a lot more. I'd rather spend the money on a few REALLY good covers than have to buy a ton and rewash every single time. I'm hoping to return them. 2 stars for being so adorable and cheap but that's all i've got. UPDATE: I've looked into returning them. Even though amazon will take them back, it's at a rate of 50% because it's used (as in washed before putting on baby) and minus the shipping cost of $6. So that leaves me with $9 and no covers? I guess i'm stuck with them as last minute back ups. Next time i'll be much more picky about what I order from amazon :/ ALSO I just bought new flip covers. They have a much larger piece of fabric reinforcing the snaps now BUT the fabric is not cotton. It is waterproof or PUl fabric which means they can truly be wiped out and reused like I wanted. So to me, they are still the best

The best plastic covers I’ve bought
The best covers I’ve bought on my cloth diapering journey! It’s been a year of cloth diaper for my baby and these are the most durable, easy to clean, waterproof covers I’ve bought! These will easily last me through this child and some other children too. The covers I’ve bought in the past from other brands were done for after 6 months of use. I’ll be sticking with these ones from here on out! And a super good price so I don’t worry about getting girly colors because I’ll just buy more if I have a boy! I will be getting more of these covers to replace all my old covers that leak and wear out after 6 months. They also just fit so well! I love their snap design and they are trim on my baby, not too bulky. My baby looks comfortable wearing them, they don’t seem to irritate or cause issues at all. Love the elastic too, soft, stretchy, durable it seems! A week into use and these are now the only plastic covers I’ll buy from here on out. I hope they make a newborn sizing one day because I’d buy them too!

concept and quality is good but it doesn’t work for my 1.5 y/o
I read quite a few reviews and don’t remember seeing anyone mention this so it may be specific to my toddler BUT he has developed irritation on his inner thighs since switching to these from regular diapers. It’s exactly where the diaper cover is thickly ruched with elastic where it rubs on his inner thighs as he walks and runs. I have to give him breaks from wearing the diapers (diaper covers + inserts) periodically to let the redness calm down. And his inner thighs do look better relieved every time he isn’t wearing them and go right back to red/pink once they are on for 30 minutes or so. I do not think this is a manufacturer issue. I am not blaming them. Could just be a sensitive skin thing. The product seems of good quality and doesn’t feel cheap. I have tried adjusting the snap buttons different ways to see if anything can stop the irritation: tighter is too tight and looser just slowly falls off of him. Also I have tried only snapping the top buttons so the diaper cover could be less tight around his legs to no avail. Honestly, I thought even before buying these that the issue would be with the snap buttons that are all over, and that those would be a possible cause for skin irritation but apparently they haven’t been an issue at all. Unfortunately, although the concept is good and the quality is there with this product’s material (I have not tried others so I cannot speak to any others besides this one), it just doesn’t work for my baby. The material is water proofed on the inside so no problems at all with blowouts or leaks which is a positive thing. The down side being that it’s not really a breathable material where if a baby has skin problems from moisture it could be a negative for that baby. Just want to mention that for the benefit of any parents reading this review. I would not buy these again. I would not recommend nor dissuade anyone from purchasing these. I would just explain my experience. Not to mention cleaning the daily pooptastophes from these PRIOR to even actually washing them in the washer isn’t fun for me or time effective. I wanted these to work and wanted to feel as though I was making a better choice for my child and the environment, but once I run out of the inserts, I am going back to regular diapers. As for appearance… I got the solid colors cuz I’m weird and I didn’t want the patterns clashing with the other clothes my baby is wearing. The colors are cute and that mattered to me bc I am crazy and want to be able to match the covers with his outfits. Hopefully, I can find a better option out there that is leak proof and breathable and softer on baby’s skin, and better for the environment, and magically cleans itself… is that too much to ask? Lol

Not usable
The fabric touching baby skin is hard and it is irritating baby’s skin as it is rubbing against the skin. Waste of time. Returned.

Just what I needed!
My SIL gave me her cloth diapers from 15+ years ago but I needed new covers. These have been perfect. They have a ton of snaps so they’re suitable for all sizes and will continue to grow with my son.
