Amazing mouse very easy to use and accurate and looks great

Great mouse with the adjustable back for precise comfort and control. HP Command Center let's you customise the different colours and different DPI settings, giving you flexibility in the speed of the pointer. The two buttons at the side can be used to replace additional keyboard functions. The cable is also very resilient and very long, which is ok if you are sitting at a distance but can get in the way if you using it directly near to the device. Otherwise great bit of kit!

My son has a gaming computer but wanted a mouse to certain games. I bought the mouse that was compatible with his computer and it works perfectly. Comfortable to use.

This is a very responsive mouse with high accuracy and very comfortable using it continuously for several hours even without a palmrest, as the back end of it is adjustable so it can keep your palm at an optimum angle. Overall quality of materials is also very good as far I can tell. It also has some RGB lighting and it quite easy to use the dpi switches without accidentally pressing them during operation. Pricewise I find it a bit high at this point. Now the reason for the 3 stars instead of 5 is lack of accessing the configuration software where I would give a zero rating right now. The omen command center (which is what configures this mouse) is supposed to be available only from the microsoft store - for some reason? And in addition I cannot download it on my win10 desktop. Seems you need to have some stuff running on win10, not sure, which I am not going to try activating and risk compromising speed, security and stability of my system. So if someone knows if there is a direct link to the HP omen command center will be good to know. Downloading it from the MS store doesn't work for me that includes the add-to-cart checkout method. HP should have a direct link to the associated software of their products on their site, because right now I am contemplating whether to send the mouse back to amazon or keep it because of this.

The mouse itself is very light. The metal cable is very slim and doesn't drag the mouse around at all. Setting up the mouse was sure easy and finding the right spot for the adjustable palm rest is also a piece of cake. The mouse is very responsive and the clicks feel great. Depending on the game, you will probably need to figure out what setting to use as the highest is way, way to much (at least for me). Setting the colors up was easy once the software was loaded, and it doesn't need to run in the back ground, so if you don't need to make changes, you don't need to run the software. If your hands are a bit small, you might have a harder time reaching the front thumb button comfortably, unless you adjust your grip forward more on the mouse. The mouse wheel is just the right about of slight click when scrolling and all the buttons feel very responsive to clicks. I'm going to assume that the only reason that this mouse isn't more popular is the price. I understand it's expensive for what you get, but if you are looking for a good mouse, and one that looks cool, works well, and is comfortable for long gaming sessions, I can't recommend this one enough. It's an HP product, so if you're into the OMEN branding, this would do well for you.

I picked this gaming mouse up on a whim as back when I got it it had just released and had no reviews. First off the build quality on it is excellent, definitely a huge step up from the stuff HP normally makes. Second it integrates great with the Omen Command Center app I already have installed on my Omen gaming laptop (yay less bloatware). The DPI settings via color code are easy to get used to. I now just know which color is where I like to be 90% of the time and if I have a setting I like for a particular game I just know what color to jump to. The adjustable palm wrest is probably my favorite feature, it really lets you dial in the mouse so it fits just perfectly for how you hold. I will say when I first setup the mouse and was using it I found it wasn't gliding around the mouse pad like it should and it almost brought me to return it. After really really close inspection I found that the plastic protective covering that comes attached to most glossy plastic surfaces was still attached (derp). After removing this the mouse glided across the pad as it should with little/no resistance. So if you have this issue with the mouse make sure to check that you removed all the clear plastic film. ; )
