Order arrived on time, but the U-lock was not included. The main reason I chose this model was for a softer ride. After test riding it, I found the overall ride quality isn’t as soft as expected. The rear shock absorbers are quite stiff and don’t work well for me or my daughter. However, the biggest disappointment is the front shock absorbers — they don’t appear to be real and don’t function at all.

Ok so first off I would like to say that I am new to escooters so I don't have much to compare this to but I do know good quality and customer service when I see it. For me I would say the IX4 is just right. First off, it is built solid and can take a bump. The setup process is as easy as can be and once it came I pretty much just took it out the box and it was ready to rock with a full battery and everything. The display is very nice and ez to see. I also like the fact that when you collapse the escooter for storage you can also collapse the handlebars for just a bit more space saving. The suspension on off road I would say is ok but on smoother terrain it is like butter. The ride is smooth and you feel very free. The lights are great and you get a brake light, headlights, turn signals, and a blue light that lights up the general escooter which looks very nice at night. The scooter also has a horn. Now as far as the engine goes I would say for regular people this is all you need and more. You can really feel the power when you put in on higher settings and it takes off quick. Or you can just keep it on the lowest setting and cruise at a lower speed which is still quick and responsive. The IX4 holds up to 330+ lbs and at 225 lbs myself I haven't had any problems with the iscooter handling my weight or the engine overheating. Also, the customer care from iscooter has been A1+. What happened was while I was testing the iscooter out for the first time one side of the collapsing handlebars was not tight enough and collapsed while I was riding it. Now because I was just testing it and not going very fast I was hurt and also the fix for the handle bars was simple. There is a screw inside the handlebars that you can access when you collapse the handle bars. All I had to do was tighten it up a bit and it was ready to go. I jumped up and down on it and it remained solid. So at that point all was right with the world except for the fact that the headlights did take damage. I contacted customer support about the problem and I must tell you that iscooter and my representative who's name was ALEA have been very supportive and kind. They are sending me new headlights to replace the damaged ones and ALEA was able to handle everything super fast. I can't speak to anyone else experience with iscooter but for me their product (IX4) and their customer service (Alea you rock!) have been a pleasure. I would recommend this iscooter to anyone who wants something for everyday around town travel that wants great build and style. I would 100% purchase another iscooter.

Box and item came damaged I was not able to come to a resolution with the seller functionally it has been a good scooter and I do continue to use it I currently have around 400 miles or so on it goes about 27 mph the rating for the mileage is only applicable if you run it on eco mode only. If you run with the lights it cuts down on your battery run time considerably going from sidewalk to grass or gravel and back to sidewalk in uneven Services seems to function well I've ridden it on the beach a couple of times the bolt heads will get a little rust in them but light water doesn't seem to affect it too much I spray it off with the garden hose when I'm done
