I recently purchased a baby hand and footprint kit, and I think it's perfectly suitable for babies aged 5 months or younger. For those with older babies, a larger frame might be necessary. Upon receiving the kit, I noticed that all the items mentioned by the manufacturer were included in a well-packaged box. The products matched the pictures provided online, which was reassuring. When you unwrap your parcel, I recommend checking the materials right away. Before you start using the kit, make sure your baby is sound asleep for a solid 3-4 hours. Having some extra hands on deck—whether from a partner, sibling, or parent—can be really helpful. The first step is to carefully open the clay packet. Be sure to wash your hands beforehand to avoid dirtying the white clay. I advise against placing the clay on a table or paper or a plastic to avoid a mess, as it can become sticky. Knead the clay in your hands for about 35-40 minutes; it starts off slimy but will transform into a dough-like consistency, perfect for shaping. Once ready, shape the clay to your liking. I opted for circles for the hands and heart for the legs, but choosing simpler shapes is wise since you might need to redo them a few times for a perfect print. It’s crucial to use your hands for shaping, rather than the wooden roller provided, since the clay sticks to it and create more mess. Aim for a thickness of about 1 to 1.5 inches to ensure it fits well in the frame. With the shaped clay ready, gently press your sleeping baby's hands and feet into the prints. Dusting baby powder on the clay beforehand will help prevent sticking to your baby's sensitive skin and reduce the risk of irritation. If the print isn’t perfect, you have about 5 minutes to remold the clay. I spent around two hours on both hands and feet, which can vary depending on how cooperative your baby is! Once you’re satisfied with the prints, let the clay dry at room temperature for one week—four days for the front and three days for the back. After this time, it’s time to paint! The quantity and quality of paint provided is generous; one coat will typically suffice for that desired gold finish. Take your time with this step, as careful painting is crucial—any small mistakes can ruin the clay print. After painting, allow it to dry overnight. Almost done! Now comes the fun part: decorating the frame and adding details. I decided against sponge balls provided, as I wanted my creation to reflect a birth chart, so I included weight, height, date, time, blood group, gender, and hospital details in my personal style. Before gluing anything down, be sure to arrange everything to check that it fits perfectly. Please note that the glue included in the box may not work well, so I recommend using Fevicol for attaching the items securely. When it comes to light I've got to say, it's quite impressive! There are three modes of operation that really enhance versatility, which I appreciated. One important tip I discovered is to unroll the light and straighten it out before using it—doing this ensures optimal wire length. A bit of clear tape can come in handy during this process. Additionally, I found it effective to leave the switch outside of the frame for easier operation. This makes handling the light much more convenient, plus, utilizing the white strap on the switch helps extend the battery life significantly. I was thrilled with the outcome of "Make your Memories" and couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you for equipping me with all the necessary items to succeed. However, I would rate it 4 stars instead of 5. The roller and glue didn't perform as expected, and I believe the instructions for parents could be more detailed for better clarity. Overall, a great product with room for improvement, this kit has been a wonderful way to capture precious memories, and I highly recommend it to new parents looking to preserve their baby's early moments!

Size is ok, Clay is little difficult to handle in summer. Final finishing looks good. Slightly pricey.

Horrible product! The clay is not enough to fill the cavity so it's very difficult to level it. The frame quality is so fragile that the frame support broke while taking the foot print. We still took a print and thought we'll leave it for drying and figure out the frame later. But the frame now has fungus on its back and it's not like we exposed it to moisture! Extremely poor product for something that is supposed to hold our baby's footprint for years to come!!!
