I guess this is also a good endorsement for the Yagi antenna. I'm surprised this small thing works at all....especially for the low VHF stations that I get like ch2 and ch4 which is about 30 miles away. I may try a lager Channel Master antenna and see how that works out. Maybe a 45 mile CM-5016. Note: This thing gets hot, so I unplug it when I'm done watching the TV. I bought mine in 2017 and used to leave it plugged in all the time, so I suspect it's very reliable. I have used other amps, even the Channel Master and nothing was nearly as good as this one. Buy it! Review: Fixed my pixelation issues with my cable tv do to low signal strength. - I used this in conjunction with the Antronix CMC2008U 8-Way Splitter. I was having a lot of issues with pixelation on quite a few of my channels. This solved the problem right off the bat. I did have an issue with it over powering my cable modem but I used a 6db attenuator to solve that issue. I asked a question by email and got a reply with exactly what I wanted to know, the next day. I received the item in 2 days, in new & unopened condition. It includes good instructions. The Power Inserter (120V AC Input, 18V DC, 0.5A output) is included. I bought this as a spare for the one installed by my cable provider, so I can help myself to quick replacement, if needed. If you're doing a new install, you'll need a coaxial cable to connect the Power Inserter to the FRA1-1510 signal amp. I don't know why it's called a power inserter. It's essentially a wall transformer or power "brick" as some would call it.
