You find valuable insights of the Royal kitchens and their cuisines along with some very interesting recipes. I particularly loved that there are festive recipes of Holi and Eid along with the pickles most loved in the region. Just be careful about the measurements in the recipes as the older ways of measuring ingredients doesn’t translate well into modern measurements.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must have food book for those who are intrigued by Awadhi cuisine.

Flavours of Awadh brings about the older culinary traditions from Awadh, tracing the history of the region. You find valuable insights of the Royal kitchens and their cuisines along with some very interesting recipes. I particularly loved that there are festive recipes of Holi and Eid along with the pickles most loved in the region. Just be careful about the measurements in the recipes as the older ways of measuring ingredients doesn’t translate well into modern measurements.
