Sony SRS-XB41 Portable Bluetooth Speaker: Wireless Party Speaker with Flashing Line Light - Loud Audio for Phone Calls Bluetooth Speakers - Red - SRS-XB41

The bass is very full and fills the room nicely at low or medium volumes... it's very deep and nice... however, as you get louder, the bass doesn't necessarily catch up, and the sound isn't much better than my srs-xb30 at loud volumes...so, if you're always blasting it, might as well save some cash and get the xb30/31... but, at average levels, it's much richer than the 30... I was almost going to return this 41, but when I came back in the room and listened to my music at normal levels, I was really impressed (as opposed to initially opening it and excitingly maxing out the volume because I thought for more than twice the cash, I would be blown away from my older xb 30... but I wasn't)... anyway, I'll definitely keep it.

This speaker is amazing!! I always get comments on it by everyone!! and I love that I can pair it with the SRS-xb40 even though its a 41! its pretty loud and I don't get any distortion out of it. being able to charge it by usb is awesome to and when I go out in town ill carry it as a power bank since it can charge my phone to so its almost like a 2 for 1!! I want to order another one soon!

Bought this speaker because I fell in love with the smaller xb30 and thought that it would be way better but it really wasnt a big difference. The quality of sound is good but compared to the smaller one not that much. Maybe my expectations we're to high.

Great sound overcame minor confusion on connecting via BlueTooth, no clear nstruction on button to press to connect, but once connected - what a plesaure to listen to it.

This speaker is great. The bass is awesome and the highs are great as well. I needed something with the ability to be heard over my Drum playing, this is the first one that fits the bill. The lights are neat but probably more desirable to the younger people. Sony has a" live" feature and it is very interesting.

Fact is That Bluetooth connection is a flash. Sound very, very good and bass noticeable. But.....the flashing lights makes it look cheap and more than that annoying, since there is no way to disable. Sad, Sony is a good name brand. The outer frame lights is cool, but the Christmas tree lights crashed it for me and positively many others.

Replaced a much lower cost Bluetooth speaker for use mainly around the Pool. Connected to Bluetooth with ease, and it started cranking. Really nice depth and feel. It was expensive, but feeling like it was worth it. Other speaker lasted hardly two summers. The lights are pretty neat

I compared this and the B&O Beoplay A2, and decided on this because its bass felt quite a bit heavier and deeper. Arguably the A2 has slightly better highs, but it's a small compensation for getting better bass, for my preference.
