Excellent product
Use this to dose my 16-gallon tank. Coral growth is really good. On the plus side because it is a small tank the bottle will last for over a year.

This is a miracle in a bottle!
Best one part solution out there for 75 gallons and under. Will not raise your salinity nor impact your pH. I've been using this for approximately 7 days and I've noticed my dkh is rising and remaining stable on a daily basis. If you do use a two-part don't throw it out. This stuff will maintain your parameters so if you use a two-part then get your levels up to where you want them and then start using all for Reef. Tropic Marin has a calculator on their website and just punch in how many gallons of water is in your tank and it will tell you how much to add on a daily basis. It will also tell you how much calcium and alkalinity will be added per dose so get your calculator out and do the simple math. Test your calcium and alkalinity for 7 days straight and on the 8th day see where your calcium and alkalinity is sitting either raise or lower your dosage. You won't see any raise in alkalinity for a couple of hours and up to 24 hours depending on your system. You need to let the bacteria work at the alkalinity and once it does then you will see what all for reef is all about. Like my header says it's a miracle in a bottle and I'm not kidding.. my corals are looking better than they ever have and it's only been 7 days. The shop that sells this should lower the price because you can go elsewhere and find it for a lot less money. Another positive note to add is that you are 99% guaranteed that the bottle will not leak or break open during transport as tropic Marin did a fantastic job with their bottle and how it seals.

Complete Game Changer
I have a 20 gallon mixed reef that leans pretty heavy on the SPS side of things and despite weekly water changes my alkalinity and calcium were in the trash. I decided to get a doser and dose this and boy did things improve! My coral is growing well, I maintain an alkalinity around 9.3-9.5 and my calcium is almost always 450+. I will say from the things I have learned as well as testing alkalinity daily. 1. The dosing may need to be higher than what you initially anticipated. For instance I went nearly 3 weeks using a lower dose (4ml) and wondering why my alkalinity was not correcting. I upped the dose and tested daily until I reached 9.5 and that eventually led to me using 12ml per day. What I have found anecdotally is that people with lots of corals often will use the ml that is around the number half of the amount of gallons in the tank. Definitely start slow and titrate up however I found that I wasn't in range until I got to around 10-12ml daily. 2. Despite the parameters being good the ph is not majorly affected meaning it takes much higher alkalinity to raise the ph slightly - I assume this is because it is not using a bicarb formula however it is slightly annoying to have alk at 9.5 and have only an 8.0 pH - which - still in range but not what I would prefer. You may have to add kalkwasser or bicarbonate in order to raise ph more but I have found that the stability of keeping everything far outweighs the pH issue. 3. If you are a new reefer this is the way to go. Get an automatic doser (doesn't have to be expensive) and tune your dosing to your tank. The stability of your parameters will make reefing significantly easier.
