I am not a huge fan of honey, at least not the syrupy brown stuff in the plastic bears and bottles. However, I was recently very ill with the flu and strep throat and my doctor suggested, among other things, tea with raw honey a couple of times a day for my incredibly raw throat. I am a research geek and I looked up what the best tasting honey was. I ended up finding out that raw honey has a multitude of health benefits that the bottled processed stuff doesn't. And so I went looking for a good raw, organic honey. After a lot of research and reading reviews, I chose YS Raw Organic Honey (There is no Royal Jelly in it. The listing is incorrect.). Thanks to Amazon Prime, I only waited two days. I had regular honey while I waited. My YS Organic Honey arrived frozen in New York and I had no idea what the consistency should be like once it thawed. I wrote to YS who kindly told me that it should be like peanut butter which mine was once it thawed. The taste is great! It is mild and sweet. It doesn't have the weird taste that syrupy honey does. It is thick but dissolves fast in hot or warm beverages or foods and spreads nicely on toast or whatever you put it on. It's healthy, free of chemicals and gone! I ate it all. I am buying a few jars to keep in the house and I am going to try to have a tablespoon a day but no more. It's like candy, I tell ya! I have not compared this honey with other organic honeys so I can't tell you if it tastes better but I can say, for a person who doesn't like honey, I sure went through the jar FAST! It's very, very good and healthy too.

This is fantastic honey and one of only 2-3 honeys that I like now. This brand makes a conventional version too, so make sure you get the organic one. I like the firm consistency of this honey. It’s like caramel and delicious. I eat a spoonful with coffee or in oatmeal.

This is my favorite go-to honey. Tastes a lot better than the runny goo out of that plastic bear.

Very disappointed with this product. I’ve never seen white honey with the consistency of hardened fat. It doesn’t taste like honey and it’s also from Brazil and Canada which is not ideal and I feel less confident about it. I didn’t notice it was from two countries when I ordered it. I cannot return it either bc it’s food. I would advise people not to purchase this brand of honey. Worst honey I’ve ever tasted. I have a rating of one star because it’s the only way I could submit this review; otherwise I would given it zero stars.

Been buying this product at the local Whole Foods store but they stopped carrying it so I had to order it here online but that’s ok still the best honey!

What can I say? It is delish. No pesticides, raw, not heated and holds all its nutrients, what's not to love?

I hesitate to say it’s delicious….everyone’s taste buds are different. I for one will not buy any other brand. My favorite way to have it is on toast. I butter the toast, then spread on the honey.(as thick as you care to, then I sprinkle on ground cinnamon. (I happen to use Ceylon powdered cinnamon) Now spread that into the honey layer. Mmmm! Good in a cup of hot tea too!

I use a lot of honey. I use it instead of sugar in my teas, especially ginger tea. At first I was thrown by the consistently. Very thick, would be easily spreadable, but it seemed hard to melt. I don’t like to put it on super hot tea as not to kill the actively healthy enzymes. That being said, with a little extra stirring, I love the flavor. It’s mild and creamy consistency makes it especially delicious. I don’t even like honey but I use it for health reasons. Please take care of our honey bees. Don’t kill a hive, have a live removal. We need our honey bees and they are endangered by pesticides and now the dreaded murder hornet. Honey bees aren’t aggressive. You can stand right next to them and watch them working. They pay you no mind. They are an important part of food production and we depend on them. Good honey from good bees.
