Love these pants and still going strong after laying down my bike!

I recently purchased these riding pants and they started out as stiff uncomfortable riding pants but as the next few rides had been completed the riding pants got more comfortable. They do still need some more rides to make them fully comfortable. One example is the knee pads position, they seemed high at first, like thigh pads, but have since freed up and are riding lower and closer to being a knee pad. My riding pants were delivered on 11Aug2023, fast forward to Tuesday 15Aug2023. While waiting at a traffic light the skies opened up and released the single worst weather event I have ever been in while on the road and this includes in a car or on a bike. It took less than 30 seconds for my legs to be completely soaking wet, 30 SECONDS. The storm had tornado force winds, driving rain, trees in the road, trees falling on the road both in front and behind me, tree limbs blowing across the road, trees across the road in some places, power lines down, debris everywhere this includes hitting me while riding, thick fog due to the rapid temperature drop, dime size hail and other aspect that made the ride an adventure. My normal 35 minute, 28 mile ride home turned into 1 hour and 45 minutes and about 45 miles. Closed roads and traffic jams followed by rerouting to passable roads. What a ride! Yes, this was an extreme test of the water resistance of the riding pants but they should have been a little better initially. I did plan to add some waterproofing spray to them but I had not had the chance before the crazy weather hit. So if you purchase these you should understand that water goes through them like mesh and you should still plan to use some tent or camping waterproofing spray on them. The waterproofing spray will at the very least reduce the amount of water that makes it through the riding pants.

Seem like good pants. Not sure they’d hold up sliding on pavement, but tee spend more time on the dirt.

I must say I was pretty skeptical about this purchase but a fellow dual sport rider did a video review on these pants and convinced me to try them out. Well, he wasn't wrong - they're excellent riding pants! The armor is in the right spots and is removable if you so desire. They're warm for the colder days, fully adjustable and equipped with vents for the warmer days. (They are insulated.) I have not removed the insulation, but it appears you can... I was afraid they were going to look like something Michael Jackson would wear in one of his music videos, but much to my surprise they're not goofy looking at all. The logos and stitching are visible in low light conditions for extra visibility. I am extremely happy with these pants, knowing that if I do lay my bike down on the trail they got my back so to speak. The build quality seems to be very solid as well. Overall 5 stars - highly recommend.

not really for sport bikes. the front side of the knees feel tight but would be great for normal bikes where your knees aren't bent as much. size was a little tight but good in length. made for more winter/colder weather.
