That was for the standard USB 2.0 cord.When I got my Galaxy S5 new with the accessories & the USB 3.0, the length was still a tad too short for my needs. Unfortunately, the stock Samsung cord snapped... literally, down where the 3.0 end plugs into your charge port. So I looked around for not only a 3.0, but a longer one and came across this one. This charger is 6' long & wrapped in what looks like a thick fiberglass braiding (the colors are beautiful, btw) that is supposed to be bend & kink resistant,.... well it really is surprisingly!! and feels very durable.As for the 'gold plated' connectors, they look very nice but honestly in my opinion, they're more for show.The ONLY negative thing I could find with it, is that I was expecting the cable to be a little thicker than it is. It's a tiny bit thinner than the stock Samsung cable but it's still a beautiful charging cord that does charge the phone quickly.
