She continued to be dry despite heavy rain and splashing in possibly as many as 50 puddles while we walked the dog. The suit is lovely and very well made. My only gripe really is nothing to secure the hood in place when it's up and it kept slipping down but that's it. Highly recommend.

A: it is water proof material  but in heavy rain it'll still get in ur socks in the neck and not very wind resistant,but it will repel rain water.
