Zoook Moto69 MonsterX1 240-Watts RMS or 2400 Watts PMPO Underseat 8-inch Car Subwoofer with Inbuilt Amplifier (Black)

There are quite a few Class D Subs available in the market but they all are in 12k+ range and I was little reluctant to spend that much for an under-seat active subwoofer. After comparing most of the subs available across the world, I had finalised to get Cerwin-Vega Mobile imported from US with my brother travelling next month to Pune. But somehow I stumbled on this one while searching and was really impressed with the specs, price and most importantly the reviews. Having used one bluetooth speaker from Zoook earlier, I had very good impression about Zoook as a brand and so I took the plunge to go for this one even if it is their first car audio product. As expected with Amazon, delivery was smooth and installing & tuning it in XUV along with a 6 guage wiring kit took about 3 hours. It performed totally upto my expectations during my recent trip to Goa. I already have an ICE thread for the audio setup of my White Cheetah / XUV on Team BHP and have added this new enhancement there as well. This subwoofer really provides the missing bass in the sound stage and completes the acoustics that I was looking for. With slight increase in the bass, one occupying the seat next to driver may feel the vibrations so I need to figure out if that issue can be fixed. Actually, in the end, Class A/B has turned out to be a good compromise over Class D as the later may distort sound for gaining efficiency. So getting a Class D just for producing less heat may not turn out to be a good idea for my type of use case anyway.Totally recommended if you are after a subwoofer that provides decent bass to complete the sound stage and don't expect it to produce heart pumping and headache causing bass! I must say I'm very happy with the purchase of this unit. Have been using it for more than a year now in my grand vitara(under the drivers seat). Got it installed by a technician from a local car accessories shop. It's well built and the output is very good for an unit it's size. When it comes to loudness it's just enough to complement the entire audio system in the car, it's not over powering nor underwhelming. So don't expect body vibrating and glass shattering performance from it. Having said that I'm using the low pass filter setting at around 120hz, bass boost half the way and volume(on the sub itself) to about 75% up. The external volume knob doesn't work properly and just works as an on/off kind of knob with no progressive volume up or down when you turn it. I have installed infinity coaxial speakers in the front door with tweeters and full range in the back door. I have retained the company(stock) subwoofer under the passenger seat in my grand vitara. To sum it up I'm very happy with the speaker. Would've given five stars if not for the non responsive(almost) external volume knob.

I was on the verge of replacing the stock speakers on my 5 year old XUV 500. Though the mids and highs are ok on the stock nippon speakers, they lack that low end grunt necessary to make your music sound balanced. Good bass is a must for any sound system. I always wanted to install a subwoofer but was limited in choices due to space constraints on the xuv 500. Saw this on a deal and got it after reading the reviews. It arrived in time and I took it straight away for installation to a mechanic. Installation took about 1.5 hours and requires you to buy a wiring kit as well. Me and the Mechanic were were blown away by the power of this little black box. By design (a sealed subwoofer) it will not sound boomy, but tight and precise, which is my personal preference as well. Bass guitars sound natural on rock, punchy on hip hop and rap, but never overbearing. Tweak the settings at the back of the box like gain, LPF, and bass boost to suit your ears. Will sound even better after they have been broken in.Highly Recommend this little subwoofer for the price and sound quality and in my opinion it beats many of the pricier brands out there. This a great add on for anyone who's tight on space and wants to improve their listening experience for a small price.

Sound setup: elite i20 magna variant stock speakers(including 2 tweeters in the front door) + zoook x1 subwoofer + RCA converter ( although I realised later that the speaker can be directly connected via high level input cable provider with the subwoofer)Installation charges: 1000/-Wiring kit: I-Copper 8 gauge - 850/-Additional work done: sound dampening of the car doors(4 doors) + installing 7d mats on the floor(for dampening the floor, it works!) = 8500/- totalSetting the sound levels on the subwoofer: never ever accept the gain, lpf and bass boost levels initially set by the installer, they will mess it up, I watched a few YouTube videos and spent some quality time setting it up after the installation and here are the levels I'd recommend (again this might change according to the genre of music you listen to)Gain: MaxLPF: let it be at 40hz(min), else the bass might get distortedBass boost: although not recommended to touch that knob(but I'm guessing it is for vehicles with aftermarket components and coaxial speakers) you may increase to the level of your choice. I personally left it at half and got the desired output from the subwoofer.Edit: changed it to 1/4, that's where I finally realised it hits the sweet spot for me.Verdict: it's a nice product, fills the bass properly in the car when set up right and with love, I'd highly recommend to get your car doors dampened and your floors as well(if not you may use 7 D mats as well which enhance the look of your interiors), because it quietens the car from the road noise and you'll be able to hear the frequency of your sound set up more clearly and clearly appreciate it more.It took me almost an year to set up my sound system to my liking, since I was looking for a cost effective solution (although I ended up spending almost 20k for the entire thing lol!) for the stock setup and I'm not disappointed. Can't wait to drive my car! :)Edit: been an year, no complaints whatsoever!

Installed under seat in my skoda rapid. Writing this review after one month usage. I updated stock speakers with JBL speakers earlier but it was missing bass. After much research I purchased this monster x1. I'm fully satisfied with the sound quality. It has right amount of bass.Wiring kit needs to be purchased separately. I took I-Copper MotoRogue 8 guage wiring kit (Rs. 850) which is not copper but of good quality. Any 8 guage wiring kit should be fine. Installed it at a car decor shop. They charged Rs. 800 for installation.I was not happy with sound after installation. There was some distortion on high volume for some songs. Actually the tuning was not done perfectly by the installation guy. Therefore don't go with initial sound tests.There are three controls Gain, LPF and Bass boost. These are critical for perfect tuning and great output. Specially Gain and LPF are very important. These controls have to be adjusted as per your car audio. Therefore there it differs from car to car.There are a lot of you tube videos which explain how to tune your woofer/amplifier. Watch a couple of them and do the adjustments yourself.If the settings are done correctly, there is very minimal vibration to passenger seat as well.So if you are missing that punch of sound in your car then blindly go for this monster. With perfect tuning, you won't regret your purchase. The price is very reasonable when compared to other popular brands. Build quality is very good. It is heavy and sturdy. Doesn't feel cheap at all.

Good product, sound reasonably effective, sturdy build, wired remote is just an on & off switch, it does not increase the bass volume, the remote design is misleading, apart from the power which is taken directly from the battery terminal, make sure the remote cable is connected to the ignition switch, otherwise when you switch of the car ignition the subwoofer will still be on and within no time, it will drain your battery. Have a good quality fuse installed between the battery terminal and subwoofer, all said and done it is worth the price, go for it, if your head unit is of high quality, then sound reproduction will also be good through the subwoofer.

Sound quality is good, size is fine too but they have sent me broken remote twice. Its their quality control which is lacking otherwise product is good.

Placed this in my XUV500.XUV500 has an inbuilt sound system that you don't want to touch since the entire car's features are controlled by it. The system does however have an output for attaching a sub. I wanted an underseat so as to not kill the boot.For the unaware: ZOOOK is a French brand. Like Decathalon is to sports, this is the king for underseat subs in my estimation. The power is awesome. The thump reminds me of my Pioneer Champ in my Toyota. The bass is CRISP and loud and the sub has basic EQ features so that you can condition it to your taste. The price too is perfect.Was in 2 minds whether to add front speakers, now I am sure, NOT to add as my sound desires are complete. I could crib about treble, but while driving all I want is a clean complete sound that energizes me!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
