Basic equipment for tough environments.
Read the manual... enough said. It does the job in many countries and environments. This is NOT a toy... it is a working tool for those in need of a small, effective filter for water gathered from primitive sources. Best gathered from running water or from the earth. Not a filter for insecticide laced runoff from farms.

Lv2 filter is good
I havent used it yet because I still have the original filter in the bottle and since it lasts about 100 gallons, it will be a while before I replace it with this one

What a waste.
The bottle broke before we had a chance to use the extra filters purchased...Now we have two brand new filters...for nothing.

I get one or two of these every year.
Exact fit, very useful. This is going with me to Nigeria again next week. I boiled then filtered tap water through this when the hotel ran out of bottled water for a day. No GI problems from doing that (had spoiled food later on that trip though!)

Having repaired water lines on base I've seen how nasty they are. Having Bio-environmental give regular warnings about nasties, and not a year seems to go by without the water being declared undrinkable for a few days, the OKO bottles are awesome for sweaty blue collar workers.
